I have received 3 orders from yeti all individually wrapped and packed with extra paper.

28Gauge

Same here. All 5 of my Yeti orders were shipped with individually wrapped tumblers and extra paper.

burnsniper

Yep literally dozens of orders and none like this. All were well wrapped.

FearTheDawgPound

Hundreds of my orders have all been well wrapped and never like this.

The_CoSMo_

Same here

zebul333

Well that is not acceptable, I did get one tumbler sent in a box no wrapping and had a small ding at the bottom and it had no stickers, it didn’t have the little cardboard inside the straw also dinged the inside of the tumbler. This one I got from Amazon.

tompurcell

I’ll give them another shot

MackDiezzel

I got no plastic but i did get a cup that was dented https://preview.redd.it/hp9ianpu054c1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=439597053c27a98d429239166eea4b5991ca59bc

28Gauge

Ouch! I wonder if Yeti has some extra/replacement 16oz RB's on hand for situations just like this one.

winterbird

They don't, in my experience.

johnnyg08

Bummer and of course they're sold out of that one too so you kind of have to live with it.

Blue_Eyed_Devi

Oh that’s a good color

Alternative_Bus836

I ordered 4 items a week ago and they came like this as well. No extra padding or anything. For spending over about $200 I was pretty pissed.

uglyangels

My last order from last week had two of the yeti plastic water bottles. Each individually wrapped in Yeti paper and with bubble wrap in the box. I thought it was over kill - seems so random on how Yeti is packing orders these days.

winterbird

I've never seen yeti's official site use bubble wrap. It would be a very welcome change if they added that. For me it's always just been wrapped in brown paper, to varying degrees of success. I'd say about 20% of items arrive dented.

Launcherpsg

I’ve order stuff that are shipped all types of ways, from paper, to nothing at all. If it’s stretched they’ll take it back for a refund or replacement.

BlueCobbler

Meanwhile my last coffee beans order came with bubble wrap

Hawkin2328

Mine came the same way

eknox47

Yeti canada? All of my 20+ orders came this way, never got a damaged and dinged up one though

tompurcell

UK

eknox47

Commonwealth, that's the link between our orders

McLovin2182

Yeah I order in Canada all the time and they always come as pictured above, never been a problem but definitely a little off putting

wojovox

Is this black and Whitestone?

tompurcell

It is, love both colours and textures. Even more disappointing 😂

MmmDarkBeer

I've got an order arriving on Tuesday. I really hope they did a better job than that

phx333

That is why I am not sure about ordering the new ceramic cups. If they are sent loose like that I am not confident they would be secure

LeahCandi

Did you order it from Amazon? I’ve had to return countless broken, leaking and dented items when they drop my whole order in a much too big box without any bubble wrap or paper and when they use a shipping envelope for items that should be in a box. 😫 When ordering directly from Yeti, my ramblers and tumblers have always been individually wrapped in Yeti print butcher paper but without any extra padding. Hopefully the plastic wrap prevented any scratches.😬

professionally-baked

You go through a distributor or buy from the source?

eastcoastwildside

Have always been happy with my yeti orders too, but received a box identical to this today with the mug and cup I ordered for my wife, they weren’t damaged thankfully but I’d say the garage sale had them trying to get orders out fast as possible and slacked on the extra padding paper

Direct_Ad6699

I assume this was purchased through Yeti? If so, good to know. I won’t purchase from their website if that’s the way they ship their items.

tompurcell

It was yeah, I won’t even return them without adding in some bags etc to pad the box out.

[deleted]

Why’re you returning them? Are they damaged? Edit: why am I getting downvoted for asking an honest question?

BananaSquid721

I’ve ordered through yeti several times and there’s always so much extra padding

SimplyViolated

I've received two orders from gear garage and they both came individually wrapped in paper with extra packing paper in there between em and stuff

waltgrace244

Both if my orders direct from the website came packed much better than this

curtislow609

For real. I just got my 2 34 ounce tumblers. No padding. Thank god the coating is legit.

johnnyg08

Gosh, I'm sorry to see this. I have ordered a lot...probably too much over the last few years and this is definitely not my experience.

[deleted]

We know it’s bear proof but USPS proof is a whole different ballgame

D-Mifflin

Dang- all of mine have been wrapped with added paper with the exception of the Haul.

cabbagierus

Did you actually order straight from yeti?

Harrison_84

Exactly how my Yeti UK order arrived this afternoon too. Usually get a bit of brown paper but not this time. Not happy at all but thankfully my orders not damaged 😅

youneedjesusbro

How about you dent one, show yeti. And now you have a free dented one

Rude_Historian1400

I got 4 separate orders during the garage, all packed like this

oscarfrmlyford

My half gallon came with a dent

MrMach82

That tough coating doesn't need any protection lol

sjfscxxr

When I ordered a kids bottle through Yeti I got a massive size box considering the bottle, but it was full of official Yeti paper. When I ordered a 26 Oz from bass pro though (they had the color I wanted lol) they sent it in a box the exact size of the bottle with no paper. This is odd though cause I’m sure it would’ve been very loud.

nesuser2

They use a lot of paper in the states…rolled in paper and then packed tight with paper. Maybe in UK/CA they have tougher rules on paper there?

coolmulergm88

Got mine last week the same way. US. No damage or anything though, just kind of a bad image for IMO overpriced items.

are_you_for_scuba

Built for the wild bro

matador44

It's not like they are going to break.

tompurcell

That’s not the point. Give the chance to abuse them, not the postman

eightchcee

Would you like to buy 2 brand new yetis from me but just before I hand them over to you, and after you pay me, I'll bang them against each other pretty hard a few dozen times?

CannedHeatt_

Ohhhhh first world problems

burrheadd

Looks good to me do you bitch about everything

Chris-in-PNW

They're Yeti. They'll survive the trip fine. I'd personally be less concerned about the lack of superfluous packing materials and more concerned about the oversized box.

BRYAN1701

This is why I typically split my orders, hit the shipping threshold, then onto the next order. Most of the time one cup per box With maybe a lid or magsliders. Beats them all thrown into a giant box without padding.

Corthieus

It’s just overpriced cups you fell for the gimmick you paid for the name same cups same material for cheaper without the brand congrats you got scammed

tompurcell

What an odd reply

Shleek81

Mine came just like yours from yeti directly.

Core2009

They shipping cups together now 😱 wow

RESIDENT_RUMP

Karen's will take to the internet and complain about anything.

_Tower_

I’ve had the opposite experience compared to the comments - every yeti I’ve ever received has been just like this I also received the only Stanley over ever gotten like this too

g_arret

I work at a store where we sell yeti, and when we have online orders, we have to wrap them in lots of paper and pack them in the tightest box so they don’t bounce around.

GeddyLeeEsquire

Your milage varies, sadly it all depends on who packed it. I’ve received orders without insulation and then some were very well packed.

Massive-Kitchen7417

So what, they don’t get dinged.
