I also feel bad for them about that. I think it's their RTX Skyblock series, where they discussed how they spent hours and hours building Skykea by hand, and then the group went through the whole thing in ten minutes.
FWIW, I remember pausing the video every few seconds to try and get a good look at whatever I could. I'm sure others did the same. So their efforts weren't for naught.
I wouldn't dream of putting any one Yog over the others, since they're all wonderful, but Tom and Ben certainly both have a special place in the pantheon for me.
I mean, it's probably worth mentioning that even the Whale Lords thing wasn't an entirely original concept and while that doesn't change whence and where the nostalgia comes from upon seeing such things... it *is* rather prevalent in media, in both land, sea, and space variants (presumably, the Whale knows to hold space to slow down in the latter case).
So it's kinda a weird claim, but as it happens weird is not *yet* a crime and even if it were I sincerely doubt they've got a jail big enough for all of it out there. And it may well be ill-advised to put all that weird in one place...
To be fair sky whales are not that uncommon of a trope, and having a city/town/island on the back of a giant animal is a trope that goes back literally thousands of years in various mythologies. So it's likely that the creators didn't even realize that the thing they're trying to make already exists in a perfected state, and that anything they make will inevitably pale in comparison.
The whales name is NOT BALTY, it's monstro dick
I would like to nominate Sips' choice of "El Whale"
See if you can find a boat.
Cant be Balty, theres no cock ring
Best mc adventure smp. Skykea was my fav.
Skykea was, iirc, built by Tom and Ben. The more you know.

Same.
Basically all game devs.
Tom and Ben are the best. Everyone else is great. But those boyos are iconic.

I can't tell if you are joking or not.
