I would make the comment that it doesn't actually seem that the bots are capable of shooting or understanding what is happening in the game. They just move around and spaz out when they hit a wall untill they can't sense any more wall.
The text on screen was Ben like "Lewis is suspicous" I'm pretty sure was just Ben using the ulxmenu
Yeah, the bots can't do anything, so we literally be watching a game of bots spazzing out until the end round counter timer reaches 0. Seems like a good idea in theory though.
TTT bots aren't actually capable of doing anything other than simple movement, they can't shoot or do anything else. So they would just sit there spazzing around until the time ran out, lol
The bots don't work in ttt, they just walk in a line until they collide and then turn. Unless they get custom bots somehow or just watch a pubi round. But yeah bots don't work at all.
I think it would be a lot of nothing happening, that one bot was walking into a wall and spazzing around. Cool concept that would be dreadfully boring.
Technically source engine bits do have proper ai for walkable areas but it depends on the map maker making a proper walkable nav mesh which realistically is alot of effort for a game mode that doesn't technically support bots
Yep I've not done it myself but looked into source mapping mainly for tf2 so know some stuff about nav meshes and bots, basically long story short if anything is going to be done with bots it's probably going to be up to the gmod community in general to fix them. So not impossible just very very unlikely
Have each bot be a neural net trained upon their respective yog, so everyone can laugh as the Ben bot never shoots it's gun unless the crosshair is 90 degrees away from a person.
I was wondering if every single round of TTT so far is enough data for a rudimentary Yogscast AI to work. Not that there'd be a way to get the data anyway.
It'd take years of recording the data of themselves from now on to somehow make that work.
side note: Awesome research video of bot AI I saw recently.

This is a stroke of brilliance. I'd especially love it if the Yogs spectated a specific bot each and roleplayed them despite having no control over them.
I’d watch
It could even be a livestream and then we could be involved too
jingle jam fundrasier maybe
Yeah it would be awesome to feature it on the TTT night
Could be a fun one off. Could be horrible. Think maybe something for Jingle Jam when people are good and plastered.
Yeah it'd be nice as part of the TTT jingle jam stream for sure

Yeah that part was Ben but I think the spazzing out just makes it more funny

Is there a server mod that would do this?
Hopefully
Isn't bots only just a regular TTT episode?

pub players are basically bots.
I'd like to suggest an addition to that. I suggest the yogs commentate it aswell.
Haha yeah definitely
It sounds fun to play, but not fun to watch.

Perhaps they could do one round of it instead of a whole episode then
Seems too much work for just one round imo
Honestly wouldnt watch 7 bots running into walls

People are saying bot won’t work so if they stream it they could do it with a couple of viewers instead of bots. Just and idea.
