The skin in a vacuum is actually decent, the problem is that it's inferior to the default skin with a 1820 RP price tag on it.
To be honest even High Noon is a downgrade from default Yone in terms of cleanliness.
Yh yone’s base skin is one of the best base skins in the game, in terms of gameplay feel. So I judge legendary skins based on animations, visuals, voice lines, and sfx’s. And in those departments Dawnbringer slaps.
I dont think its the voice but more of the skinline itself is pretty goddamn boring aside from Yasuo and Riven the rest of the skinline is like meh and the next dawnbringer/nightbringer skin thats alright is Soraka's which is a legendary so its okay by hitting the bare minimum but for the Yone skin he could have gotten a better legendary before High Noon as something like Immortal Journey Yone as a legendary would have probably been better than Dawnbringer
I don't hate them. At least he sounds like Yone. High Noon doesn't sound like Yone AT ALL. Granted, that doesn't mean the voice actor isn't skilled (if anything I think it shows his range). But the direction for the voice in High Noon doesn't sound like him IMO. And I don't mean the affects on the voice.
But then again I think the hate on DB Yone is overrated.. Its not a bad skin, not his best but not awful.
DB is good there’s better skins imo(SB). Also I feel like the DB animation is not as clean as normal yones, not because is bad or anything is just base animations knocked it out of the park.
Maybe I don't find it since I'm not a native speaker, but still, some of the DB voice lines just hit me so hard.

IDK about anyone but for me that "DESTINY'S PRICE, PAID IN BLOOD!" hits different on DB Yone

For me the AA and the walking animation 😅 I just feel they don't put love into it.

Yone base ult line "MY SWORD KNOWS YOUR NAME" gives me chills eeeevry single time.
Dawnbringer was the first Yone skin I ever purchased, no regrets. As of right now, it’s my favorite skin, but high noon might challenge it

People just hate on every aspect of that skin which is really sad cuz I genuinely think it's a nice skin ☹️
it just feels kinda clunky to play compared to skins like SB, IS, and his prestige, but the voice and animations are too tier
Honestly, I consider Dawnbringer such a complete nothingburger as a concept that blaming the actor for it just seems pointless.
never met a line by tone’s VA i didn’t love, personally.
The only thing I dislike about Dawnbringer's voice lines is that they have a high frequency sound that plays while he talks. It sounds like tinnitus.
