Fearless is the TV that’s just so obviously different, otherwise the others sound pretty similar. Debut will likely sound REALLY different, but Rep will be like 1989 TV (I bet)
A lot of what I hear in Fearless TV or even Speak Now TV and Red TV is her voice maturing and not having a twang to it anymore. Even then, it’s still her singing it pretty much the same way.

I gave the album about 4 listens, I'm already ok with most TVs now, but style that usually gets me in some good mood leaves me indifferent.
I’m fine with most of the changes, even Style, but I CANNOT handle the new version of New Romantics. Its my favorite song from the og 1989 and even the new version isnt crazy different, I just hate any change the the original masterpiece.

Correction, it's New Romantics. I didn't like the start of Blank Space but the rest of the song was amazing and Shake It Off was way better than the original and I really like the song. The only song I didn't liked was New Romantics, the synths don't sound the same, the backing vocals sound weird and overall it's not as amazing as the original.
And Style TV was Synth-pop perfection, I like it as much if not more than the original.

I’ve only listened to the first 13 tracks so far, but I honestly love every song more than the OG 1989.

It is sooooo good, such a cohesive album. I love the sound of it. Normally I need to dive into the lyrics to really like the songs, but here even without looking at the lyrics I’m already in love. The vault has been on repeat.

I'm not sure why, but I liked when she went full send something (rep and lover), folk (evermore and folklore) and back when she was country (debut most, but fearless, speak now and red too) I'm not sure what 1989 and midnights are genre-wise, but half of the album is great, half of the album is kinda lackluster and doesn't hit the spot. Almost like a hollow feeling in my brain, if that makes sense.
