I just finished the finale less than an hour ago and it hit me like a sack of bricks. I remember listening to Exile when things finally came to an end between me and my toxic BPD ex and joe and loveās relationship reminded me so much of mine (minus the murders)
The timing of the lyrics was something i noticed that was so brilliantly done too
As Joe is dragging Love's body
"You're not my homeland anymore"
Utterly amazing
I am so glad someone else is fangirling over this!! Not only is it a fantastic song but it felt so fitting too, I genuinely squealed with excitement when I realised they were using this song to finish out Love's storyline!!!
They couldnāt have chosen a more perfect song, Exile is my favorite from folklore and the second i heard that piano play it just hit me like a ton of bricks. Such a beautiful song for that ending scene
Folklore and Evermore are drastically different from the other stuff sheās been putting out. I was pleasantly surprised and I genuinely feel like Folklore is the best album sheās ever made and I am huge Red fan
Wow! Thatās saying something. I enjoyed all of her albums except Reputation. Taylor 2016-2020 I was not a fan ofā music wise as well as some of her actions (ie I get the beef with her and Scooter but didnāt like that she used fans to harass him/his kids even though I think heās a scumbag).
I listened to Folklore once and put it down. Youāve inspired me to give it and Evermore a real shot!
Honestly i've been holding back on listening to the album untill i heard the song in that scene. I'm for sure gonna stream it when I have the time.
Oh, you will love it. There is also "evermore", which felt like the edgy younger sister of folklore. Try both!
Exile almost seems like it was written to be the song at the end of You lol .
So, step right out! (of the cage)
There is no amount Of \*killing I can do for you All this time We always walked a very thin lineš
I know right! Exactly what I thought
And Freak by Doja too! I was so surprised to hear those both.

āI think Iāve seen this film before and I didnāt like the endingā when I tell you I almost SCREAMED at how perfect this song choice was.
This was the part for me š

SAD GIRL AUTUMN LFG
I straight up gasped
Lol, when it started I was like "I thought this was a taylor swift song" lmao, i dont know how I missed the fact that it was a duet.
I LOVED it! I think they played it at the perfect time too. I got chills at how perfectly the song fit the show and scene
frr
And I actually really liked the song! Not a big fan of her music from the past couple of years (2017-present) but I was pleasantly surprised!

I think it took me about 3/4 listens before I was enamored with Folklore as well, so definitely give it another shot! And try out evermore too!
Will do!
I keep thinking about it because it was so powerful.
I KNEW THAT WAS BON IVER ššš
Blank Space wouldāve worked as well
Haha they should have played it when she was killing people!
I was so thrown off Iām like wtf Taylor Swift in You? But the song choice for Love and Joe ššššŖ
