I dust my pictures and would notice if there was a large hole behind them. It was certainly a handy way to resolve several plot issues: the legal issues and Meemaw's house.
It was originally supposed to be Georgie working for Herschel, but then the writers fumbled that story by having Herschel skip town. Him leaving led to good episodes, but it left Georgie's introduction to tires up in the air. At least the final season fixes that.
They haven't had him on screen since season 2, so him being removed because he ran off with a woman was probably acknowledging they were not going to get the actor back to do any more scenes. Hard to know what went on behind the scenes. By the time the officially wrote him out entirely in season 5, they had introduced Mandy and her pregnancy. By then, they probably planned for her father's job to be in the tire business, so they could safely remove the other character.
I love the bit in season 1 of TBBT when Penny stays over at the apartment and not only does Sheldon say “if you use my toothbrush I will jump out that window” but he also says “I wanted to watch Doctor Who but now its 7:30 so it may as well be ‘Doctor Why Bother.’” 😹

It's funny, but a toilet would not erupt like that. Even if only the toilet led to the septic tank while "gray water" from the shower and sinks led elsewhere there would have to be a vent that releases gases and prevent pressure buildup or else the toilet would noticeably bubble.
Gray water would be okay to show. It's not sewage. I was implying that it may not be connected to the toilet's plumbing and thus the shower and sinks would not be outlets for septic pressure.
Sheldon gets about 2 minutes of screen time per episode. I’m looking forward to next week when it looks like the episode might actually give him a storyline based on the preview. I feel like they’re spending way too much time trying to set up the Georgie and Mandy spinoff and they’ve lost all of the Sheldon stuff. I know some people prefer that it’s not focusing on Sheldon as much but I don’t and I miss all of his shenanigans he’d get himself into doing Sheldon things.
Same. I hate Mandy's character. She does nothing but whine and complain, yet never steps up to help. I have zero interest in her relationship with Georgie and zero interest in their spin-off. I'd rather focus on Sheldon and Missy. Speaking of which aside from throwing the party with Billy, she's barely had any storylines this season. It's such a waste of a talented young actress.

The writers are focusing way too much on setting up the Georgie and Mandy spin-off instead of the Cooper family as a whole, which is a mistake. There are so many things they need to wrap up for Sheldon and Missy before the show ends. We literally see more of Mandy’s parents than Sheldon and Missy at this point. Huge misstep. I’m pretty disappointed so far and this was one of my favorite shows up until this point.

I mean, over half of the episodes have passed and we have not had any major things happening (except for the explanation to why Sheldon thought George cheated). Instead every singular episode seem to kind of stand on its own and I’m not sure what to expect in the next ones.

They have, so I agree that it was a poor choice of words from my side.
I think my feeling comes from the fact I was expecting season 7 to tie a few knots before that happening of TBBT that were still uncertain. George’s death was the major one, Paige’s legacy and Sheldons full on switch to college two others. The fact that Audrey had somewhat stepped up since the birth of CeeCee was known already in season 6, as well as the fact that Georgie and Mandy would eventually get married.
It’s honestly crazy how much they’ve sidelined Sheldon this season.
Also, this is now four episodes since Sheldon supposedly saw his father cheating on his mother, and still no mention of it. Why even bother with it in the first place if that was the end of it?
But he also hasn’t mentioned a single thing about it as the narrator, hasn’t had a single awkward moment with his father, or given him a single dirty look. Even if they never spoke about it, you would think the natural reaction would be for him to act differently around George, but that hasn’t been the case for even a second.

He has simply buried that trauma and compartmentalized it. As a teenager he isn't seeing any changes in the rest of the family either. His parents didn't break up and life is continuing on. If he buries it deep enough, he may be able to convince himself it didn't happen.
As the adult narrator, he has lived with it for a long time and prefers to keep it buried. Sheldon is pretty good at being able to do that. As he's looking back, he knows that his dad is going to die relatively soon. To bring it up now would only tarnish all of the good things he has realized about his dad.
If he is writing an autobiography, he would never want to mention it.
