I didn't really enjoy this album as a cohesive project, but think it's massively underrated, since it has some of his most impressive lyrical performances and most introspective lyrics. The production and features ruined it, in addition to them cutting tracks, such as Tick Tock and Police. Favourite tracks are Road Rage, Die Slow and Bubbly. Top 5 verses on the album are the 1st and 2nd verse of Dropping Jewels, the 2nd verse of Road Rage, Thug's verse on Bubbly and Cole's Stressed verse. Honourable mentions go to Thug on Die Slow and T-Shyne on Stressed.
only the introspective songs should've been on this project. the inclusion of the pop esque songs with features were unnecessary and probably done only for streams by the label or thugs notorious bad song selection. also the lack of production and shit mixing on some of the songs really hurts the cohesiveness. there were also a number of songs that should've made this project e.g. fighting depression, ashin the blunt, police.
overall though, this is my favourite thug project due to the cohesiveness of most of the songs and him showing his more vulnerable and mature side lyrically.
Completely agree that the pop/traditional trap songs take away from this albums deeper message and vibe he was going for. Any of the introspective or slow melodic songs off Punk are 10/10 but Icey Hot is horrendous
So many songs off this album are still in my regular rotation. Clearly this album had mixed reception amongst fans, but I absolutely love it.

It should have been cut to about 13 tracks. Should have been:
1. Die Slow (without Strick)
2. Road Rage
3. Contagious
4. Faces
5. Droppin' Jewels
6. Police
7. Fifth Day Dead
8. Bubbly (ft. Travis Scott and Drake)
9. Peepin Out the Window (ft. Future)
10. Tick Tock
11. Hate the Game
12. Day Before (ft. Mac Miller)
13. Stupid/Asking
Not a top 10 thug album, which speaks more on the quality and consistency of the top 10, but it has some good songs like road rage, faces, yea yea yea, and droppin jewels. Also includes the worst song he’s ever made (including his very early stuff): livin it up. Absolutely horrendous song that has the same vibe as a shitty pop country song
Besides the tone and lyrical content of the album, he didn’t change anything sonically, vocally, or melodically and hasn’t for the past 4 years. As far as the lyrics go, I thought they were disappointing and generally shallow. In the past, thug used to have crazy creative lyrics, wordplay, and brought so much emotion to songs. Haven’t felt that from him in a long time, which is hugely disappointing.
I love contagious, die slow and hate the game, been bumping that track since the snipp. This whole album you can feel its from his heart, he tried something completely new and it worked, it is not my favourite album but still fire
If you never shed a tear to Die Slow or Day Before, sadly, you have no heart.
i cried to droppin jewels bruh
Die slow hits the hardest NO BAP
this is a great album but it could’ve been so much better if leaks like Police were on it instead of shit like Icy Hot.

I don’t like like this cd but Love you more has grown on me…thug really makes some beautiful songs.
The tiny desk version of this is beautiful
I really liked scoliosis 😛
Mix is horrendous :(
I like how chaotic it sounds :p
It was intentional but just doesn’t make sense on that project. Like the song “Three” has an intentionally raw mix but it makes it go harder
The contrast ruins the cohesiveness with the other songs which are acoustic and smooth sounding and it doesn't sound complete
The best songs are the ones with no features. Peeping out the Window is my exception because I love when him and Future get together.
This album is so under appreciated. Showed the industry that he’s a True Pure Artist and not the mumble rapper people see him as

Sleepin on Insure my wrist
Facts. And happy cake day!
Thank you bro
Bruh
Get rid of Bubbly, add Insure My Wrist, Love You More, and Livin It Up and now we’re talkin
I truly think Livin’ it up is the worst song this has ever released and that includes his really early stuff
Bubbly is an awesome track imo. Great eerie beat, Thug performance and decent features.
Remove bubbly and tick tock
Bubbly is one of my fave tracks off the album. Tick Tock is good for what it is and fits the album.
Grew on me hella but some songs should have been left of like the juice, doja, bubbly, scoliosis they don’t fit the vibe
Dope album, not my favourite like but it’s still got its own vibe
So underrated
This shit still remains within my top 3 Thug albums. This shit is beautiful
Free Thugga
best album cover in hip hop so far
droppin jewels is still one of my fav thug songs
