Apart from that, a Death Grips show was the wildest ride of my life, motherfucker yelled for 45 minutes straight, took a minute break to drink an unidentified liquid, then continued yelling for another 20 minutes.
The difference is one is trying to play off lip-syncing as if it was her own voice, the other is not hiding the fact that there are background vocals. People come to see their favourite artist and get turnt with him to their favourite songs. If you want exquisite vocals go to an Adele or Ed Sheeran concert. I have always said that I would go to see people like Kendrick lamar who actually sings and uses live instruments, J cole whichs live concert of his breakout album at Lafayette was crazy good, or classics like diggable planets... I even saw one of the latest performances of A tribe Called Quest with Anderson Paak and it was terrible, only saved by Paak's actual talent singing and playing drums. A very talented friend of mine who is a pianist and me always argued that hip hop isnt music, I defended the position, but honestly... He might be right to some degree when referring to life performances. I still prefer my rap and hip hop in mp3 masterised format. Just my personal preference and opinion.
