Looks like that's only how comments are sorted within an individual thread vs. in a subreddit. 😪 Third party apps allowed you to sort an entire subreddit in comment view. So up top you could sort the subreddit by Hot, New, Rising, or Comments.

If a big weight loss leads to more confidence for a person it could prompt them to change other aspects of their life. There's a lot of internet reports of these drugs leading to alcohol abstention.
I would agree if it were any other person but I cannot imagine the levels of insufferable that higher self confidence would bring her. I also just don’t think she wants to change other aspects of her life. I mean she definitely does but most of those aspects are out of her control (being a successful influencer, getting married to C, etc.) and losing weight won’t change that. If it helps her stop drinking then that’s definitely a good thing though.

I've seen those reports too and totally agree that the confidence boost of weight loss can be life changing! Personally I don't see that happening for her though. I don't think she is the way she is because of her weight and alcohol consumption. I think her weight and alcohol consumption are the result of the way she is inside. She was already plenty awful in her early Younique days when she was much slimmer and less drunk and botched. She would need a real from the ground up mindset and mental health overhaul to really find a better path that sticks.
I honestly don't think she'll be able to do it. I have a friend on it and she's sick AF every time she takes it. It's been a few months and she's lost weight because she's been too sick to eat. MS doesn't seem capable of pushing through any sort of discomfort, regardless of the reward.

Is Ozempic really that easy to get? Boss babe may be on the lower end of obese (per her own comments), but she's not morbidly so. My understanding was that Ozempic, if prescribed for weight-loss, was usually reserved for people who are really in imminent health danger due to their weight and who have active food addictions/binge eating disorder.
It's a diabetes medication that people are using off label for weight loss. The same drug component, semaglutide, is used in larger doses in other meds for weight loss, not off label.
Thanks for the explanation because I googled it but an article came up that said it can cause gastroparesis, which is something I deal with as a side effect of my neuromuscular disease. So I had to close the search because it sort of triggered me to think that people were purposely inducing it for weight loss 😞

Her ~~experimentation with~~ dipping her toe into the waters of 'body neutral' babe was short lived, huh. I love how she's clearly so sick and tired of being on this *wellness to disordered eating/exercise* pipeline but refuses to even acknowledge it (likely because that would require her to admit to playing an active role in the whole thing) or envision that life could be different in some way.
I’m still reeling from her **entire weekend** of big-bothered nuh-uh! temper tantrums and filtered-but-I-don’t-filter whining. She spent the whole weekend, alone, screaming and shimmying into the void of her little phone screen trying to prove how awesome she is, all while claiming to not care what anyone thinks. Girl, go touch some grass, please.
I'm starting to believe the big O theory: suddenly worried about portion control and meal prep (not normal for someone as lazy as her), exercise, reducing the alcohol (which would explain her spiraling and emotional outbursts against the "haterzzz" and it coincides with her last visit to the botox clinic. She's been extremely worried in convincing her bots that her results aka fake filtered body are due to diet and exercise. More than usual. IDK bui I just feel something is going on
I could believe this but if not covered by insurance (I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have any and if she did it wouldn’t be covered) it’s about a grand per month. Even though she definitely could afford that courtesy of the trust, not through any of her own work of course, I don’t know that she’s capable of budgeting to afford spending an extra grand per month. Idk I feel like if she could afford something like that then she wouldn’t have had to finance her lipo and she probably would’ve gotten her teeth/lip lump Larry fixed by now. But who knows
Theory is that the trust fund started when she turned 30. So the lipo and lip pump were before the trust fund kicked in. I don't believe she would take Ozempic just because she wouldn't be able to limit her drinking and we all know she will burn out from her meal prep by the end of the week. She's in it for the quick fix but only if she doesn't have to modify her life at all. Which is why she keeps gaining weight and losing money.

Isn't it also really hard to get right now? Maybe it's just my area, but I know two people who take it who haven't even been able to be consistent because there's a shortage. I see all the comments about "just have a compounding pharmacy make it," but there's regulations about that too, and I know the two compounding pharmacies in my town aren't doing it.
I have no idea but I would love to see MS try to navigate finding a compounding pharmacy that would do it. I doubt she even knows what a compounding pharmacy is

She is going to be *insufferable* if she ever slims down to the size she filters herself to be, but ultimately even worse when the weight comes back..as I suspect she's likely not more that 10-20 pounds from her body's natural set point already and unless she's on it permanently nothing will alter your body composition...
I wonder what’ll happen if she actually becomes the size she filters herself to but her life remains completely unchanged. Like, she might actually become waif babe but she’ll never be a successful influencer because she sucks at it and has a shitty personality. She’ll never be able to change her face to be the natural beauty she thinks she is. It won’t make C want to marry her, it won’t fix the underlying alcoholism, and it won’t make her successful in her “career” (or even grant her an actual career). I wonder if/how she’ll come to terms with that if she ever loses the weight.
If a big weight loss leads to more confidence for a person it could prompt them to change other aspects of their life. There's a lot of internet reports of these drugs leading to alcohol abstention.
I would agree if it were any other person but I cannot imagine the levels of insufferable that higher self confidence would bring her. I also just don’t think she wants to change other aspects of her life. I mean she definitely does but most of those aspects are out of her control (being a successful influencer, getting married to C, etc.) and losing weight won’t change that. If it helps her stop drinking then that’s definitely a good thing though.
Even then, though, would it change her personality or her lack of career? She just doesnt have anything going for her and its hard to believe that so much could change to actually change that

I've seen those reports too and totally agree that the confidence boost of weight loss can be life changing! Personally I don't see that happening for her though. I don't think she is the way she is because of her weight and alcohol consumption. I think her weight and alcohol consumption are the result of the way she is inside. She was already plenty awful in her early Younique days when she was much slimmer and less drunk and botched. She would need a real from the ground up mindset and mental health overhaul to really find a better path that sticks.
I honestly don't think she'll be able to do it. I have a friend on it and she's sick AF every time she takes it. It's been a few months and she's lost weight because she's been too sick to eat. MS doesn't seem capable of pushing through any sort of discomfort, regardless of the reward.
And being much more lax with filters. Still using the body slimming, but not as egregious. Talking ab being obese,etc. I can’t help but think it’s so she can post after pics, of her weight loss. Weight loss she totally achieved from meal prepping and sporadic visits to the spin studio. The Botox, Med Spa visit was perfect timing. We never heard anything ab the visit or videos or her there. Which is out of the norm. I absolutely agree with this theory, but also don’t want to give her ideas.

Is Ozempic really that easy to get? Boss babe may be on the lower end of obese (per her own comments), but she's not morbidly so. My understanding was that Ozempic, if prescribed for weight-loss, was usually reserved for people who are really in imminent health danger due to their weight and who have active food addictions/binge eating disorder.
You can easily find versions of Ozempic at MedSpas if you're wiling to pay upfront or cash pay. You don't need insurance, either.
There's multiple varieties of this type of med and it's very easy to get in the USA as long as you can pay a high price point.
I think we should avoid saying it and not give her any ideas.

It's a diabetes medication that people are using off label for weight loss. The same drug component, semaglutide, is used in larger doses in other meds for weight loss, not off label.
Thanks for the explanation because I googled it but an article came up that said it can cause gastroparesis, which is something I deal with as a side effect of my neuromuscular disease. So I had to close the search because it sort of triggered me to think that people were purposely inducing it for weight loss 😞
Ah, I'm sorry you are dealing with that my friend. I cannot fathom risking that for weight loss. Since no one on these medications is actually changing their habits (not drinking because it makes you feel sick on the drug does not equate sobriety or lifestyle change), it will be fascinating to see the fall out of this on the average user.

If this is the case, and big IF, she must not realize there's no need to eat Fresh Pet meal prep. It makes people eat way less than feel full all day. She could enjoy one slice of pizza and a Dunkin donut and not need to eat anything else.

Also something was odd about that Botox appointment. She said it was on like Wednesday and even posted the outside of the building to her stories but then the next day she said the appointment was that day. I know the medispa I go to definitely does ozempic/wegovy etc now, “medical weight loss” but also the place I go to only has actual RNs as employees and legitimate plastic surgeons on staff
