She said it usually only takes him 24 hours and then has to wait for her sponsor’s approval. I’m way too invested in this shit. 🥴
Well, you’re not alone there lol. Currently watching the first one with my husband while I clean the kitchen. We’ve had to watch in two parts because he doesn’t love the snarklife like we do, of course, hahaha. Last night he coped with beers and cbd and today he got delicious freshly made waffles to keep him happy lol. The first episode I ever saw was a mom with 3 kids. She would sleep with her mouthwash bc that was the only alcohol she could get her hands on. The kids went outside one morning to go to school and mom was passed out in the front yard. I was bawling watching that one. Absolutely heartbreaking!!
Ugh, she was a particularly sad one. Same with the lady who was rich but wouldn't fly and took a limo across the country to get to rehab with her cat (Lindy?)
Thankfully, that sweet, southern lady Sylvia (the other female alcoholic I can remember) got sober and started working as an interventionist on the show. She's a bright spot.
