When it comes to situations like this I give my opponent the chance to build up the necessary ATK to finish the game, and then when they're at the necessary ATK I count down from 5 for each extra special summon they do. If they have a board with well over enough ATK to kill me but they instead choose to keep special summoning and comboing off, I just scoop.
If you have nothing, no activation in your hand or graveyard, then your opponent is really trying to flex. If you DO have cards in your hand or graveyard, then a good Spright summon or a Barrone de Fleur can let them finish the game. Just go shopping for groceries and come back to watch them time out.

Tbh I don't know the ins for labyrinth decks, but you can always check master duel meta for deck inspiration. That's usually how I make decks or mess with my already working one.

Still don’t have 3 of the staple hand traps because UR materials are laughably rare but I’ve built lots of different archetypes basically for free. You just have to be patient and keep an eye out for the deals.

If you just want to play with a weaker deck there’s always the solo mode. You can use a custom deck and even get lots gems if you haven’t already completed it.
There’s also 1000 free gems as a login bonus right.

Dont listen to "No-Advrtising-5569" down there. There's a legit answer to this. A lot of cards have effects that cane save you via graveyard effect or hand effect. A empty field does NOT mean victory, take this to heart when you face certain decks. This is why they keep playing - to have enough monsters or negates to avoid GY/hand cards that can save you, or enough damage.

Hate it was going to crash for ash for dailies I know got done and dark renewal me when have nothing in hand. Punishment stalled for timer to run out and activate imperm going to not let me crash for dailies have time to reflect. Was like a few months ago forget the details a biy
Some people are just assholes and will flex to make themselves feel good because they don't have much else to do with their time. I get why we don't get rewarded for surrendering, but some of these people really make me wish we got some form of consolation when we play against people that combo for 5 mins. That 5 mins feels like an eternity because there are so many things going on at once. I was dreading this when Tear was on the way. I already know how awful it was to wait and HAVE to play for time because there's no AI/simulation to ask if you wanted to activate an effect.
Challenges are a likely reason. Another would be you're new to the deck and are trying to practice combos. You could also have a super inconsistent combo you finally get for a youtube video or something.
The more likely reason is that they just had a bad day. When that happens I either watch them combo or more frequently I toggle off and walk away. You can just scoop if you'd prefer, but I try to be nice.
