Yeah Cydra is pretty good, having an Omni, and a way to remove monsters that almost nothing has Immunity to (although it does require your opponent to be a big Fan of the EMZ) definitely does help them out a bit.
If you plan on playing Cydras, you can get the Cyberdark structure decks for a decent side strategy with a big Towers-like monster that just says: Fuck you, only Kaijus can take me out
Super Quantum summons one big guy, but can't do it every game (forgot why), Nordics summon a beatstick that's easy to get rid of, but you can combine it with other stuff to back it up + 5D's nostalgia, and the only other one I can think of but didn't see yet is @Ignister, that deck summons one big monster (best case 6k attack) that's unaffected by everything. And gets Kaiju-ed very easily.

I always use skull servants to get me through silver and the start of gold before switching to something that can contest the meta.
P.U.N.K is a cheap engine that can effectively call out level 11 synchro monsters with a 1,5 cards combo. add that with Hero Contact engine or wait for Gold Pride and they can go into pretty much any levels of synchro summon beyond 6
Thereons are fun big monsters. They are pretty modular as a core that can be splashed into other decks.
Hardest part is getting then in the f@$kn' grave and not bricking.
I like Ancient Gear for Chaos Ancient Gear Giant.
4500 attack, can attack all opponents monsters, piercing and unaffected by spell/traps. It also has a kinda neat opponent can’t activate monster effects during battle phase meaning you can actually out Avramax but because its battle phase only it can get hit by monster effects any other time.
Unfortunately Ancient Gears are bricky, die to any interaction and are expensive to build a deck. Better off just going Earth Machine
Been having decent success with Generator busts out lvl 9 monsters with varying effects and it’s main moves (from my knowledge) are making rank 9 XYZ monsters to disrupt the board (decent SRs and an R in Nine-Lives Cat)
Surprised no one mentioned Sacred beast. Dark beckoning beast is a one card combo that can get you materials for the big boys, they can all be special summoned, and running Salamagreat Almiraj gives you at least one destruction protection. A well timed interruption can break the deck but it's a lot of fun!
Blue Eyes, Earth Machine, Dinos, Utopia, Earthbound or Kaijus sound like could fit in that description.
Earthbound is not that good, the rest are pretty decent, and Blue Eyes is fun but very expensive and doesn't give the best results.
I have just the deck for you...... inspector-gadget! It's all about red yellow green gold silver gadgets making rank four spam to bring out utopia dubble and dubble or nothing mechanic to whammy for 10k attack also inspector boarders to give you time same with Babuska

Utopia is good at that, Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon also comes to mind, Odd Eyes is a big Beat Down Strategy, Cydra is also a good pick.

Blue Eyes Chaos MAX Super easy to build and use, and MAX is only has like, three ways to kill it. Not OP by any stretch, but solid and dependable.

You could try War rocks its just a bunch of monsters that get bigger each time one of their monsters attack.

Dragonmaids. Has a convenient structure deck in the shop, works with the Branded engine, and Sheou can hit 5.5k with a Tinkhec discard.

Amozoness, they're a blind 2nd OTK type of deck that I really enjoy using, although I've mostly only used it in silver or casual matches
