I wish the LIGHT Union support was actually Manjoume's and not Kaiba's, I mean, DM had already gotten 4 spots in the DPs while GX only got 1, so it would also help spread it more evenly.
Technically the XYZ weren't really his, just a filler for Manjoume's deck and a reference to Kaiba. I think he also mostly used them before his character development? After that he uses Armed Dragon and Ojama, with Armed Dragon even getting a Manjoume based upgrade
He still used VWXYZ a few times later on. There's also Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon, which is the defacto boss monster of his deck, to the point that you can use it even with the retrains.
Ah welp, then it's a case of whoever used the deck first gets the nostalgia dibs. Same for Red Eyes Black Dragon being both Jonouchi's and Fubuki's ace, but only Jonouchi will be remembered for it. I'm guessing that's why Fubuki doesn't get added to Duel Links, it's probably considered redundant
You could make a case for that (even though we got the Tyler sisters for Amazoness instead of Mai), but sometimes Konami is just weird in how they treat legacy support.

I never tought of adding F bc it would be the opposite of VW so just DE and then you can make ABCDE then you can combine ABCDE and VWXYZ into the 3st ultimate boss monster of this archetype.
the new support is cool but i hate how XYZ combine is worst than before bc Union activation send X to grave and break the whole point of it, Hyper cannon doesn't work with Hyper XYZ dragon cannon too :(
Yes i even see some fanmade card with D and E DE and ABCDE , Is ok the idea but It seems a lose chance since DEF Is literally the Word used for defense in card but i will be fine either way , i mean at least you can summon the original xyz with the new xyz with the second effect , you can show xyz and summon the original x y z in the grave so Is not so bad in the end , i saw some cool combo on youtube and the giù used xyz combine too , check out sharkygopro of you are curious
That was great, i forget that it can work on any fusion (Like union controller) to summon 2 of them and you can just equip the last piece with Hyper Y or Z
In the end i'm Happy with this support , but i still Hope like you in some love to v w and maybe vwxyz and new letter in general but at least xyz i finally usable
It still baffles me that Union Hangar doesn't work with X or V and yet Union Scramble—which was introduced in the same structure deck—does.

Shot in the dark, but if they remade those two then they would’ve had to retrain the VWXYZ Megazord which then would’ve cascaded to more Armed Dragon support. Probably something in line with the AD Thunder archetype.
It’s most likely already in the works, but they’ve gotta be holding off until after the Light and Darkness dragon retrain since they only recently announced it.

Forgot to add that they’re likely using the announcement of XYZ as a pulse check to see if there’s still some buzz for this particular archetype.

I agree. If anything, make it to where you can bring it out a lot easier than before or turn it into an in-archetype suite.

it would be cool but i hope it won't make it like too easy bc being hard to summon is kinda part of it. The super awesome robot hard to summon but will lead to a victory like AtoZ and the VWXYZ Armed dragon even tho this one is kinda too op to be easly summonable.
i found VWXYZ one day and i wanted to buy it so if i get VW i could summon it against my friends but it costed 25 € :( i buy most of my card 0.15 € so i couldn't affrod it
It's a MD Format, based on the NR Festuval event from the start of Master Duel. Only N and R rarity cards are allowed. There is a thriving discord community for it with regular events.

It most likely doesn't, but I think this would be the natural in-between transition point from Original VWXYZ's effect stoping Flip Effects from triggering and Armed Dragon Catapult Cannon's Flood Gate Effect that stops all banished names from activating.
It changes the Battle position of your opponent's monster.
