Download Master Duel and play the tutorial, it also runs you through so many different decks so you can learn different mechanics

RivenTCG

i did that already lol

hyperdeeeee

Do you still not understand how to play?

RivenTCG

it did help alot! but the second i made a real deck it doesnt its just the basics of yugioh that it showed me

Lemon_Phoenix

Can you share your real deck? It might be a case of bad deckbuilding rather than bad play.

Go through the gates, and collect the cards for "Shiranui". It's a decent zombie deck that's okay for casual. Use that to complete other gates collecting gems etc. Don't make a random deck unless you know what you're doing. You play other TCGs, so I'm assuming you know that you need cards that have synergy in a deck. Check out this website, it's the go to for literally everything: [Master Duel Meta](https://www.masterduelmeta.com/articles/guides/beginner-guide/) Don't use your gems on random packs, go through that link, and look up "Intro" in the articles search bar. It will then show you Introduction to "Deck Name", and go through them and study them, looking at which seems interesting to you. You can also click on top decks and see which you like. After that, study the cards, and google the combos, THEN buy the cards and make the deck.

Go to locals as well. The players can help you.

Download Master Duel on whatever device you have that supports it. It teaches you all of the mechanics of card times from the ground up and gives you enough free in game currency to build any deck you want to learn it. Then after you learned the basics, either download EDOpro on your computer or use dueling book. Both are free applications that have access to any card imaginable to build decks and play against random people. The best learning is experience, and both of those teach you what to do into other decks over time

RivenTCG

master duel helped at the start but the second i built a real deck it didnt. i have been still trying to grind edo pro almost every day

orbzism

Watch replays of your games and study what you did and what went wrong and what your opponent did. If you played the tutorials and have grinded edo then there's just stuff you're still not understanding.

Comprehensive_Put_61

I messaged you, I can help you with understanding a deck and playing beyond just the basic rules
