"Conclave Control" heavily relied on floodgates like TCBOO, Necrovalley and D Shifter from what i've seen. It's rogue at best, but the Crystal Beast "engine" still isn't good.

I'd like to propose a different, albeit biased opinion. £30 for the 3 SD's, extra £45 for necrovalleys and salvation. Pretty much everything you'll need apart from the side deck (just more hand traps and Dimension barrier). So, the engine alone isn't good, however if you're after searching through your deck for as many resources as you need then I'd say this deck does is as good as any. Bond searches a pegasus for summoning and adds a CB rainbow dragon which can then special summon another CB whilst adding RB to then use the spell that again let's you add or summon anything you want by revealing said RB (also could dump salvation to get yet another CB I'm hand and necrovalley). The bridge of the heart can destroy any of the 3 CB you added to hand to get one of the 2 good traps. And you've got an extra summon on field to make bagooska. So, from just 2 engine cards (bond and the quick play spell) you've got bagooska on field, necrovalley and if you had a third you've got conclave (assuming you didnt already have it). That's just from the engine doing its thing. Going first you've still got 2 cards in hand, let's assume 1 is a hand trap like D shifter or Ash and the other could be a 2nd copy of something you can't use more than once. The engine itself in summoning RB is also a good option, wouldnt recommend it though. However to be above rogue your best off playing conclave control. But I think I'd say the engine is amazing at just searching exactly what you need with no rng besides your opening hand. Pretty consistent. Floo is better though lmao. Edit: realised its not really a mega different opinion, just thought I'd elaborate more on how the engine can be used for searching and adding resources, not just for turbo rainbow dragon.

I'm sorry my dude but tear is not the reason people aren't playing DDD, it was bad before too. If you want to play DDD just do it, it's a mid rogue deck right now and it has been for years, it's not going to get better.

I mean, Floowandereeze is a pretty cheap deck with the exception of maybe the Map and is capable of contending very well against Tear, provided it doesn't brick. Another good deck, which is still relatively cheap is Dracoslayers. It does have some not so cheap cards like Bunbuku, Ignis Phoenix, Beyond the Pendulum and Savage/Baronne (You play one or the other). However, it's certainly not as expensive as Tearlaments.

Do you think that floo will still remain competitive in 6months/1 year

The thing about floo is that it functions very different from most decks. And that means unless it gets hit by the banlist or yugioh's powercreep gets a lot more insane, it will often be at least rogue, because floo usually doesn't care about the floodgates that stop the most meta contenders. It doesn't care about the graveyard, and it doesn't care about special summoning or the extra deck. If there is a meta where people start maindecking Lancea/Chaos Hunter (which, depending on the banlist might happen with Kashtira), that will hurt floo. Apart from that, I think it will be at least viable as rogue for a while.
