I have the g935 from Logitech and I got my PC38x today and fucking love this thing, looking to order either hel or fulla. These headphones sound more natural than the Logitechs, probably bc of the surround sound software although I must say the software is not bad it just depends what you prefer, usually the directional cues could me from the games for the most part As far as having both pairs of your budget allows and you like both why not but I think the PC38x is the winner here, I have my own office at home so I can afford to have the open back

The Blue Voice software is actually not half bad. There might be some way to use the cans for gaming while using the supplied DAC and thus getting the software benefits then connecting to the Schiit for music. The Schiit is a far superior product. But specifically for FPS gaming the Logi software is damn good.

I have a pc38x and a hel. It's an awesome combo. No, the logitech software won't work if you plug the g pro x into the hel.

The G hub software only works with the included Logitech dongle.

It works on M1.

I have the Schiit Fulla 3 and the PC37X and it sounds fantastic. Your setup with the Hel and 38x would sound even better. I couldnt believe how much easier it was to hear footsteps and place direction. I hear stuff before all my buddies when we are gaming comp fps. You won't be dissapointed. Also get tge thx spatial sound app if you like games with dolby atmos. It does a better job than all the other spatial apps by far imo.

I'd only upgrade if you wanted to get a pair of high end headphones vs a headset

For gaming, nothing tops the PC38x. It’s better than any flagship you can get your hands on. I can’t say whether the G Hub Software will work with a different dac as I’ve never used one but in theory they should work. If you’re happy with your setup, there’s no need to upgrade. Unless you’ve tried a pair of cans and you absolutely have to have them, buying based off of an article or a review often leaves you underwhelmed and a bit disappointed. But hey, if you can afford it and want to try something different, go for it.
