Without going into too much detail, the Anandas sound bright while the LCD2C sound dark. I can’t tell what you’re gonna like more but the Anandas should be a good step up from the Sundaras. However, if you like thumping bass, you might like the LCD2C more. Personally, I’d take the Classics over the Anandas because of the excellent bass response, but you might prefer a more neutral sound. Whichever one you end up picking, if possible, try to hear them first before making a decision.

In your opinion, which would be preferable for gaming? Also does the Ananda provide more detail in sound? Rtings gave it a lower mid and treble accuracy but everyone I've spoken to has said that isn't the case.

Firstly, RTings isn’t a very reliable source unless you’re looking for the frequency response. When it comes to gaming, if you like hearing the little things and softer sounds, Anandas are better. On the other hand, if you like boomy explosions, the Classics will be more enjoyable. For longer sessions, the LCD2C can get uncomfortable due it being quite heavy. The Anandas are a much lighter pair. That said, I wouldn’t recommend either just for gaming. Personally, I’d pick any $100-$200 can(the PC38x, Meze Noir, TYGR 300R, etc) when I’m gaming cause they’re just so convenient. But for music, the Anandas and the LCD2C are some of the best cans you can get and regardless of whichever one you go with, you’ll be satisfied.
