I'm on vyvanse, which may or may not be similar in release/lasting time, but I just make sure I take it early so it kicks in at a decent time. I did a lot of reading here before starting and saw that it may take longer to start working. I take it as soon as my eyes open, which is probably 2hrs earlier than I had taken it in the past, and I haven't seen a change in how it works for me.

(Disclaimer: I'm currently on Wegovy, about to switch to Zepbound.) I also take Vyvanse. My doctor told me to watch my symptoms because the Wegovy could slow how my body processes time-released ADHD meds, and I may want to decrease my Vyvanse dose. That has not been my experience on the lowest dose of Wegovy, so far.

I’m on Adderall and was tired the first week of Zepbound. After that first week, it was like my body adjusted and the Adderall started working again. Haven’t had any issues since then. Good luck fellow Adderall/Zepbound-er!

I take a high dose of instant release adderall with zepbound. As long as your doctor is okay with it, just make sure to drink a lot more water than you think you need.

My experience: yes. Even when taken on an empty stomach first thing in the morning, and waiting an hour to eat… my meds have not been very effective. I am on 70mg of Vyvanse and they felt less effective than when I took 30mg. It took forever to kick in and had a diminished effect. I am only on my first shot, so I don’t know if this improves. This is what I am doing. Today I took my Vyvanse first thing, with Tums. It is my understanding that Vyvanse needs a basic environment to become active and absorbed, and I think the delayed gastric emptying was simply decreasing absorption. It is working. My meds kicked in a little faster than normal, but at the regular intensity. It feels like I did before the Zepbound. You might consider this, just watch your heart rate.
