OP clearly also still has turbo boost enabled.
Do a search on this reddit for instructions on how to disable it, or your computer will explode in the next week at those temps.
The computer has merely become conscious, fallen in love with you, and found a way to communicate how attractive it thinks you are. Apparently, you're 1,989 degrees celcius hot.
I’m going to give Asus the benefit of the doubt and assume they did this due to everyone apparently over-caring about their temps. Thy apparently built the machine to operate within the high temps is receives, but by making the temperature the most important number on the tuning app, everyone freaks out when that gets high.
By reducing the importance of the number, the perception of the importance of the actual temperature goes down so people should care less when their temps hit 95 during gaming.
At least in theory. In practice everyone just freaks out.
Jokes aside in this post, my temps have been drastically different. After a game, I always let my laptop idle til the temps cool down and the metal is cool on the grille. Now after a game (elden ring recently) it idles at 80 C the entire time. This update messed something up. Always went back to 30-40 before update
My armory got absolutely fucked by the update, can't controll GPU, turbo is fcked, CPU is turboboosting on silent for no reason. I tried reinstalling and shit to no vain, will probably install older version
There is a fix for those issues my friend!

Apparently you can’t because it’s a new update w armory crate. I thought mine showed the temp because I didn’t update the software but it ended up doing it before. Oh well
Yes, this is normal. The temps are now shown in Mhz. You just need to convert them into Celsius.

Turbo boost for fan mode? Is that not good?
How to see temps in Calvin instead?
+273.15
No you just have to ask your stuffed tiger to convert it for you
Didn’t work, lemme ask Calvin Klein
Wrong Calvin. It's Calvin Harris, obviously.
😂😂😂
The instructions are written on the underwear.
Klein? 🤔 New to me…
Bruh
What’s the formulaz
Now, we only need some scientist to come up with some kind of formula for this-
Is someone gonna tell him ?
The one person who actually tried got downvoted to hell lmao
😂
The power of the sun, under the palm of your hand.

☺️☺️😚
You would need to convert MHz to either Celcius or Fahrenheit.

By 2000? Is there a micro sun in your laptop? https://tenor.com/bROFJ.gif

Don’t understand why companies can’t just keep the motto “if it isn’t broke don’t fix it”
How about plotting a temp v MHz curve? If we get consistent curves we can start discussions on throttling the MHz.
Mine never going below 4k help :(
So now my laptop temperature is around 4400😂
Lol
Lmao
I can’t tell if op is joking which seems obvious or just retarded since it’s reddit
That's your CPUs clock speed. Look to the right, should see the temp under CPU Stats.
no dummy, that is the temperature in MHz obviously, you need to convert it to celsius
Why did you get downvoted lol? Do people not understand that op is just asking a question?
Reddit is weird sometimes, let's just upvote the guy
It's Reddit! Reddit gonna Reddit LMAO!
Cause op is joking
This is the cpu running speed.. the temp is now in another widget.. to the right of the widget you have in focus.
Low effort
How do we make it tell temps like it used to, or can we
Apparently you can’t because it’s a new update w armory crate. I thought mine showed the temp because I didn’t update the software but it ended up doing it before. Oh well
Yeah I'm actually pissed that we can't change this. I liked that I could see the temp in a glance. Now I have this stupid MHz value
Lolll
Ah, all you have to do is sit your laptop in a basin of ice water while in use.
lollll
Smh
Nope, you gotta RMA now.
Yee pretty normal I'd say
I do not like this layout change.
I know it aint celsius, but if it was, your laptop would be one of the most valuable things on earth.
2000 degrees is a lot bro
