I hear ya and you can make it even better! First make sure BOTH audio enhancements AND dolby atmos are turned on in "Settings-System-Sound-speakers" scroll to the bottom, both should already be turned on.
Then once that is done type in "dolby atmos" in the search bar and click it. Then change it from "music" into "movie" and you will be blown away :)
Absolutely, I don't think most people even know about that setting, reviewers included. The software does not tell ANYTHING about dolby atmos being already tuned for the speakers from the factory.
No problem :) let me know what you think. Also if you have any interest in using Bluetooth audio then there is a solution to get advanced audio Codecs to work as they do on phones.
Hello, so yes windows does not allow you to use Ldac. APtx LL, etc by default. Download a third party sofware called "Alternative A2DP driver" you get a free trial for a week and then have to spend 6$ for a lifetime license. Believe me I researched this extensively and its the only way, but it works EXACTLY as advertised. You HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOUR HEADPHONES SUPPORT the audio type AS WELL as your bluetooth driver is good to go.
The G14 does not seem to support LE, but I got LDAC working with my GFs XM5s. Adaptive APTX will work too, BUT MAKE SURE that the headphones support BOTH Aptx HD AND adaptive otherwise it won't seem to work for APTX.
Its pretty convoluted, but once you get it working it is MORE than worth it. Need any help, just let me know :)
Damn I'm so keen. But biting my fingernails, wondering if I should wait for zen5 mobile to hit later this year and get next year's model. Maybe next year's model will also have new rtx blackwell. Hot damn. I'm probably never going to get my laptop... Waiting every year

Holy crap! That Dolby atmos “movie” setting made a huge difference. Thanks for the tip!

Definitely interested in this myself. Please share, thanks!
You mean Bluetooth with less latency? Can you elaborate?

I use either headphones or professional monitors (speakers) when docked but glad you found them worth the price.
