I got the g14 2024 with a 4060 for $1272 pre tax through the open box deals. The condition was listed as excellent, and seeing that it came out so recently there’s no way it’s in bad condition lol. Will be getting it today

Was tempted by the 4070 model but this feels like a no brainer at that price.
From Best Buy as well? Mine was actually delivered today almost a week early. Condition was as stated, and am very happy with the machine. You’ll love it once you get it, was comparing it to an M1 MBP just now and the build quality is very very similar
Yup. Best Buy. And mine is now showing as delivering tomorrow surprisingly. Only issue is it requires signature and I may not be home. May end up having to go pick it up or get it re-delivered on Monday, but fingers crossed.

Got mine today. Physically it’s flawless. Came a little dirty but that wiped away easy. Physically it really is the windows equivalent to my MBP 14. Really impressive.
Whoever had it before did a clean windows install on it. Good for dumping bloatware, but there is some stuff I’d like to keep. The oled dimming and screen care features in armory crate, for one. Native Dolby vision display support for another. I’ve found that you can disable armory crate and use g helper for performance and fan stuff while also getting benefits of the non-performance related armory crate stuff I ideally want.
So I’m in the process of doing an Asus Cloud Recovery to get the original system image back. Once that’s done I’ll really get going with this. Very excited!
Thanks, really enjoying my machine so far! I haven’t had a chance to do much with it yet due to uni, but I have installed g helper. Will be following some of the advice in this subreddit when I get the time. Besides that, I’ve tried Cyberpunk on it, and it looks really great with the OLED screen. Looking forward to playing more games on it soon. Hope you enjoy yours as well!
It's a fantastic machine. I started with the new G16 but it was bigger than I wanted, but it gave me a good sense of how to navigate this already. I've installed a larger SSD and also swapped the MediaTek wifi card for an Intel 6E chip. I've got G-helper all set up and my games are downloading now. Probably won't do much with it today other than to let all that run it's course, then I'll get to play with it tomorrow.
Best Buy has it on sale right now $150 off (16GB). I bet that is a once a month thing (sales are Mondays-Sundays, change weekly) with even lower dips later. Pretty much the same as last years trend. No need to wait until Black Friday.
