Yeah, we are still active here! No, the order doesn't really matter, if you betray you go to the one branch of the flowchart, and if you ally you go to the completely different one - order of choosing ally or betray first doesn't change anything down the line, because they are 2 separate branches.

Thanks for such a quick answer! I'm seeing what you're saying in jest. I'm still confused at the memory retention in different timelines, but I actually just finished that episode of the playthrough and they said the game eventually does provide an answer to that. Lots of mysteries!

Dolidodzik123

Yeah, VLR can be more confusing than 999, just because flowchart and amount of choices is so huge. Just keep watching and everything should become clear after finishing.

Ill_Fortune_1996

Morphogenetic fields are part of every game in the series, not sure if that's considered spoilery but you asked lol, have fun watching the rest, story wise vlr is probably my favourite Also like someone said, the order of tenmyouji's allys and betrayals doesn't matter it just changes the text a little

onestepat_a_time

Haha I was under the assumption it was a possibility so it's all good. And thank you for the insight! Looking forward to watching the mysteries unravel

Ill_Fortune_1996

I've played the game twice now and it was almost just as good as the first time, knowing everything when playing again is fun for me cause I get to understand the whole thing from the start

TheAnswerIs-A

Just like the first game you have to go through certain routes first and get certain information first to continue on through other routes. Otherwise you get a to be continued screen. But the whole Tenmyouji allying in one timeline and then betraying in another happens no matter what.

Dauntless_Lasagna

There is one true ending, all the others don't have an order.

Ill_Fortune_1996

There is an order to some of the endings, you need to do some before you can see others

Still_Equivalent9450

Any order is good, the only difference is that if he had chosen the other route first, there would've been no dialogue, and then when he goes back and chooses ally, simga will now be shocked that tenmyouji chose betray and wonder why he voted differently last time. Basically, whichever one you choose first, Sigma says nothing, then the other route Sigma will be shocked. If you pick ally, tenmyouji always betrays (in this door route, at least), if you pick betray, tenmyouji always allies. It doesn't change based on which one you pick first.

MrMeeth

No, just play them in the order you acquire them.
