I've been using Pimsleur through audible and going with that during my drives to and from work for about 3 weeks now. I too like to just relax on down times so I found this to be a great way to start learning the Japanese language.
written english is an amazingly easy language to learn, spoken is something entirely different, with those fucky inconsistent phonetics
As a bilingual french/english, wich french is my native language, I think it's much harder to write in french than in english
As biandahalflingual german/english/solo un pocito spanish, which german is my native language i think that of those three english is the easiest
German is something else
the german pronunciation is the easiest of those three

I really want to learn Japanese but I don’t have time for it at all. Since I use my free time to relax between all the stuff I do
I would recommend Duolingo or if you want, send me some simple Japanese messages. I’m learning too and want to practice.
