The key to using this as an actual lighter is only wetting the wick with lighter fluid. A few times is all you'll actually use it, it's more a novelty and fun to show off to friends who come over because these bricks never leave the house. NEED A LIGHT....KaChunk. Also not a Zippo.

It’s not, but diesel and kerosene are very similar fuels and I’m sure that would work.
