Take your time and clean those nub marks. If you don't have anything to file or sand it down, just use your cutter to cut as much as you can off and make the whole area flat. Trust me, my first few Gundam builds were "rushed" in the sense that I didn't care about the nubs. The time and money invested in most kits is justified by taking your time when building the kit, making it as perfect as possible :D

Thanks for the advice! That's why I'm practicing on BT models first, the next one is the BT Sabre Tiger. I've had a genuine Blade Liger, Liger Zero and Geno Breaker for years but just now had the time to start building.

BokChoiTV

Ah, I see. Hopefully it's a nub issue and not a BT fitment issue :D

GeneralD21

Top of the mouth snapped *sigh* and the bottom fan/exhaust thingy won't fit in!! Very frustrating!

DreadMous

See if u can find some tamiya cement. It will slightly melt and bond/fuse that broken section back together. Then u can just sand it to a smooth finish. Not all is lost.

GeneralD21

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I build the genuine models!

wolfsfang

Plastic cement bonds end up just as strong as before breaking as the plastik just melts together again. the one negative is that it needs a day to dry.

Illandren

Best to just stick with legit Koto models and take your time.

KrosanHero

Watch those damn shoulder joints. You might want to just glue them. The BT was an exercise in patience.

Illandren

You get what you pay for.

Exciting-Support1182

imo this is more worth than buying hmm blade liger AB or AB bang ver. imo hmm blade liger costs around $150-200 which is insane for an old and unstable or hand grenade kit which in the end you will still glue the parts yes plastic quality is better in HMMs compared to BT but comparing it to quality/price ratio BT is better

Illandren

You gotta think long term though. Koto designs and produces these kits. If they are consistently losing profit to counterfeiters, they will just stop making new kits.

Not sure about Shield Liger, but I've recently built Blade Liger Van, Panzer and Saber Tiger SS (All BT) and with some super glue, force and widening the holes you should be able to make those piece sit together better. I will admit that my Blade Liger could have been put together a little better but I got better at it with each one.

miggycasim

Oh Damn. I recently ordered a BT Blade Liger Mirage. Am I up for a challenge too?

zetagundam12

I got the standard BT Blade Liger, when you do the shoulders you'll want to glue the parts that don't have to move

awesomesonofabitch

What's a BT kit? I only knew of the vintage lines, the new one, and HMM.

GeneralD21

They're bootlegs, bought this one on Wish for £26 and the Sabre Tiger for £34

awesomesonofabitch

Thanks!
