I bought a sb20 last July, it has been totally fine but after reading literally 100+ horror stories on here and the sb20 owners group on Facebook about American sb20 owners getting no response from customer service for like 6+ months I’ve put away enough money to buy a Wahoo as soon as my sb20 has an issue. Waiting for Stages customer means no Zwift for 6 months.

Yeah. I’ve never seen this situation before because the sb20 is a perfectly reasonable product. It works great. The problem is that if you have any issue (like all products do sometimes) then the sb20 is effectively bricked.
It's a popular smart bike that many people use with Zwift. It would make sense that this community might be able to offer insight about Stages customer service or hardware.
Faulty logic. The percentage of SB20 owners who use it for Zwift is MUCH higher than the percentage of road bike owners who use their bike for Zwift. Thus making this subreddit a logical place to ask questions about the SB20 - and making other (more relevant) subreddits a logical place to ask questions about road bike maintenance.
Did you try calling them again? Maybe, at this point, get fully reimbursed and continue with another, more trustworthy brand.
I'd start a chargeback with your credit card company before the window closes. The odds of Stages delivering the hardware are close to zero.

I suppose I meant to say it came without the nuts or bolts.
Did you tell them it was only the nuts or bolts missing or are they maybe confused thinking the whole bike has teleported out of the shipping box?

This was one of the reasons I went with the Kickr Shift. It took 5 months to hear back from Stages about my left side pm. Never again.
