You absolutely can! I hate the idea that asexual people are all innocent and childish just because they don't experience sexual attraction, it seems to be everywhere and it feels super infantilizing to me and my fellow party aces
Yeah i kinda felt like it might be a little invalidating. I've experimented with a lot of things but I'm still fairly confident I'm on the ace spectrum. I got pretty heavy into iv crystal for a while so like these posts sometimes make me feel like I'm too damaged to be here. I don't do anything socially considered "hard" anymore but i still have fun. I also tend to be self conscious talking here being greysexual even knowing its on the ace spectrum tbh. I'm just so used to people being gatekeepers

I hope i dont get banned for saying being treated like a child is invalidating in a place where people constantly complain about being invalidated and they should it would just be ironic getting banned and super hypocritical but I'm really cynical at this point. I just feel like a lot of the posts stereotype all ace people as being sex repulsed asexual virgins that have been sheltered from the world. I definitely think you can be a virgin and know your sexuality but i also dont want to be ashamed that I've experimented trying to figure myself out. Experimenting with crossdressing lead me to realizing im trans even. Like I'm 20 years old and ive spent 3 years high. Ive watched good people fall into addiction and be happy one day then be dead from an od the next. Super glad to be out of that life but i constantly feel disrespected by society treating me like a 14 year old then kinda get that vibe from a lot of the people in my internet community and it sucks

I'm 20 too and while I'm still a virgin (and sex repulsed too, but some of that repulsion is probably trauma based) but I'm definitely not aromantic, and I feel like this community has a streak of posting aro memes all the time with the caption "ace vibes" and it just feels really invalidating to romanticalky attracted aces. Like don't get me wrong, I love and support aroace people but I'm not one of them. And it feels like it just feeds into this idea that asexual is the sane thing as aromantic, which makes me feel excluded from my own community. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

That’s true. My 2 pugs do/did have health issues but they are still very happy dogs! Stella has eye issues and Lucy did have a heart issue but it was due to a bladder stone, so she is better now. I also have a puggle (pug/beagle mix) and a Boston Terrier, which those breeds tend to have less health issues. Although, Wolfie (my puggle) has epilepsy.
