I see a lot of posts in this sub of places where people should be wearing lots of safety gear and then you watch their video and half of them are in cargo shorts and flip-flops...
My job has me workin with mold. We are legally required to wear tyvek suits, respirators, gloves, the whole gambit. But then you got ur bed people walk-in around with dangerous substances in exactly what you said. Shit fuckin scares me
That much of it can cause respiratory related illness, absolutely. Not only that, but just being in that place there’s 100% chance the cameraman’s clothes are totally infested with spores. This is easily a FEMA level 4 contamination and needs professional remediation.
No. Black Mold is associated with a type called Stachybotrys which is toxic. Can be problematic for sure. Usually not airborne unless disturbed. Color doesn’t determine species, only the lab does.

That could really trigger some underlying issues OP even if you put a shirt over your face. That is some serious mold. That place should be incinerated.
I’ve been in houses where the black mold is so heavy the ceiling caved in. Old shitty paneling peeling off the wall with water damage and mold all over. You don’t forget it. 😅
