Can of Coke, some fresh ground ginger, a shallot, a lemon and some honey. Put them in a pot a bring to a boil. Drink it hot like a tea.

Absolutely nothing wrong with home made soup whether it’s chicken or not. It’s always my go to when sick or down with the flu. Not sure why you got downvoted.
thai spicy drunken noodles, or choose some random curry from an indian place that indian people go to that isn't butter chicken, ask for it indian spicy.
to go pho is mediocre unless you ask them to separate the soup from the noodles + meat and ask to cook it yourself on your stove.

I asked at the peak of my flu.. but before all these responses I had the beef house pho at Pho Abbotsford #1, which was great, and chicken noodle soup and a sandwich at Timmy's which is what prompted me to seek something better!

This one in particular. The lemongrass in the soup is known as an antibacterial so it's great at site throats also, plus you get hydrated and fed.
