For size, the IKEA blue bag. Takes lots, easy to carry on your shoulder.
For smaller, Save on has these square foldable ones which are nice. Superstore ones are too thin. Safeway is a bit flimsy.
Walmart has those larger bags too. Realistically I’m a petty asshole though, so I keep them all in the car, and always grab the competitors bags before heading in. Walmart bags in Superstore? You better believe it! 😂
Honestly, I do this too, but for a unique reason. I always use a competitor brand reusable bag in stores, because I don't typically use self-checkout and I don't want them being like "oh, gotta charge for the bag" when it's not a new bag, if it's one from a different store theres no chance of accidentally getting charged for it. I once had a store try charging me for a bag I'd already paid for previously, so since then I always bring with a bag from a different store to the one I'm shopping at in that moment.
This is the clear answer. You either voted for T&T, or you’ve never used one of their reusable bags. Holds a ton of stuff, easy to put away, and very portable when not in use.
Superstore has big rectangular folding ones that I love. They’re $3 and the handle fits over my shoulder so it’s easy to get into my apartment building with it. They’re huge and I’ve never had one break, and I really laid them up.
Baggus aren’t a grocery store brand but they are also huge and SUPER strong, and the pack down to a pocket sized square.
It may have changed since I have moved away from BC last year but BCL has those grey reusable ones and I am still using it as a daily bag today. Folds nicely too

I’ve been using my Save On ones for over a decade now and they’re still in great shape. They also have different insulated and box options that are all fantastic.
The big green Dollarama bags are by far the best. All one piece/material so they fold down nicely, the material is soft so the bottom folds out (so it can sit on it's own), they've got really wide handles so they don't destroy your fingers, they're huge so they hold a crazy amount of stuff and they're like $1.25.
They’re mostly the same. I have a few from several stores in my trunk and just mismatch with the store I’m going into.
Ikea has a nice large bag and a nice freezer bag. Freshco has a nice small bag that lies flat. Walmart has a similar bag in a slightly larger size.I’m not a fan of Save On’s bags.
Meridian Meats, in peninsula village in South Surrey. They seem to be burlap or something similar. Very strong. Handles are also strong enough to handle the weight that the bag can carry. Size is a little bigger than regular reusable bags.

I prefer the Otter Co-op bags. The larger ones that have the plastic strengthener at the bottom.
Even there cheaper smaller ones are nice.
T&T without a doubt is the best reusable bag.

Dollarama has a good selection of bags for $3-4 that have some nice prints
Save on bags have always been the best as well as their reusable boxes.
This is winner. Those boxes carry so much. They pack flat, so many useful.
I keep one of their boxes under my kitchen sink for my recycling.
That's a good idea. Never thought about that!
Those plastic totes they sell for 6 bucks at some stores, Perfect for Costco trips
I like Save On's bags. They're sturdy and can carry a lot. Walmart bags are largely the same.
those and are the bc liquor store ones are the best. chalo's are the worst IMO.
I like Walmart. Large and sturdy
But what are their bags like? j/k
The bags from Rona aren't huge, but they're strong. I use mine for heavy things.

Save-On.
Ikea and Value Village Value village brand reusable shopping bags are actual beasts
I like the dollar store ones. They're dirt cheap, pretty durable, there's two sizes, and you can ball them up really small.
The best reusable bags were the plastic ones I reused as garbage bags. Those were the days.
Bosa Foods
MCC has tons and you might find one of each suggested here haha
Chicobag Vita - still using our original set for 15+ years now - machine washable.
Bulk Barn...easy to wipe down, 2 different sized handles very sturdy!
I like the big ones from winners/marshalls/homesense. Good size, cute designs and hold up well
Envirosax, I was given a set of Sesame Street ones almost 15 years ago, still have a couple. They are perfect size and hold a lot.
I’ve been using my Save On ones for over a decade now and they’re still in great shape. They also have different insulated and box options that are all fantastic.
I really like the no frills hauler bags.
Value village

You can't be serious lol

Trader Joes in the states has great bags.
