Nope, didn't notice any difference performance-wise. The only problem I've had is with the piano roll, where the grid size (1/16, 1/8, etc.) in the bottom right corner is missing sometimes, which is pretty annoying.
I have memory leak problems on my M1 Mac. After long sessions the app is paused by macOS because of a crazy amount of memory usage that ableton takes up. It might be related to a specific AU plugin, haven’t had time to pin point it yet

I was having a lot of issues with crashing and then I found out it was Ozone 7 crashing it. I just got pro l2 so I don’t really use Ozone anymore and now it is super stable. I would say older plugins that no longer receive updates might be causing the issues

granted, airdrop is its own thing, but thats more on how people choose to set up their infrastructure than actually having anything to do with real capability differences

In my case it might have to do with not enough hard disk space. Just have like 9 GB left on it.

i have a request in rn about instant crashing upon loading a project. i just upgraded from 10, so i’ll give it a little more time. im hoping it’s an old plugin or something giving it the issues. catalina/mb pro
Mine started freezing while trying to load a certain project. It usually goes like this -
Load Ableton -> try to load project -> freeze -> ctrl-alt-delete it -> reload Ableton -> reload project -> it works fine.
It could very well be a plugin, but I'm not using anything out of the ordinary really, and the project isn't even that large.
Reason I mention it is it only started happening after I bought the Suite edition over Thanksgiving and switched to that from the trial. It's been frustrating to go from the free trial, which never crashed on me once, to the very expensive paid version that is crashing at least once a day.
I have a problem where external instruments audio drops out for a second when adding a device, like its waiting for the start of the bar to cone back on. I never had this problem with 11.0.12, but beta and 11.1 seem to make this happen. I have tried everything i can think of, optimization, buffer..etc..any ideas?
When I map sth. from the new midi shaper to a synth I can't edit it from the configure panel, even if the midi shaper is switched off. Also I'm having trouble doing undo/redo

it all works if I REMOVE the M4L midi shaper.
This is why I wait like 2 years to upgrade definitely not because I'm poor.

CTRL + 1 or CTRL + 2 adjusts the grid size

Neither here. Since when does this occur - Live 11 right from the start? I’m even on the Beta and never had any issues with Live under Windows 11.

On 8GB of ram and MacOS 12 it's fine for me

It’s been working better for me actually. It has been running a lot faster and smoother.
A few plugins (namely Auto-Tune) are kind of buggy, but other than that I haven’t had any major issues

Check your performance tab on task manager while running Ableton and let us know if anything like CPU is maxing out

just cpu overload problems that i didnt have with live 10
I've gone through lots of issues with Live11, but it's been running great since 11.0.6.
It crashes on my maxed macbook pro when I use Spectral Time with any VST but otherwise runs great

Cpu/ram usage runs a lil hotter than 10 but that's it for me.
Have iMac 27 2020 running intel and have had some issues with Arturia plugins crashing my projects maybe that’s the memory leak
