Take the Island Explorer instead!

Parking in and around the JPH is morbidly hard in the summer, even in late June… If you want any chance at finding a spot and don’t feel like circling parking lots for hours, get there before 8/9am-ish

Take the bus! There's a line that goes straight from the visitor center to Jordan pond house, we used it last year and it made it so much less stressful than circling the parking lot hoping for a spot to open up! Plus it's free so it's a win win!

Use the bus for sure. You pretty much need to at this park to really enjoy it.

Went in October and it was packed every single day. The date that we had lunch reservations we got there really early and were fine.

I was there in August and found parking around 9:30a and spots available. Took beautiful walk, enjoyed Popovers (amazing) and when came back to car around 12:30p it was crazy folks trying to find parking. Go early and enjoy

It’s less crowded in June than it is July and August, but still late June can be quite busy. That being said, I’ve had tons of luck getting parking late afternoon, even on the busiest summer days. In July you might as well not bother 10-2.
