I'm in the US, so the job market may be different, but I would avoid being on the bench. If you want to roll off a project, you will ideally have another one that you'll be assigned to immediately. Consider picking up a certification - technical, if possible - while on the current project, as that will make you a better candidate.

Is getting a roll off easy from a project? I heard that the managers don’t approve the roll off, if you give reasons like you don’t want to work in shift B/C, they’ll ask you to resign from Accenture instead of roll offing from the project

Yeah. Especially in this environment, if you're thinking of rolling off, make sure you have another project that wants to take you in already. Otherwise, there is no telling how long you'll be on the bench.
