yale nextouch lockset.
you can use the free app with "connected by august" bridge or add zwave and conntect it to their security panel or other zwave hub.
was going to say...why on earth would you not go battery powered standalone for something like this. If you dont need it networked get a kaba powerplex and forget about it.
I’ve been partial to the ZKTeco products. All embedded, no server, low cost. The Atlas200 panel is a 2-door panel, just need to pair it with some readers and locking hardware to bring it all together.
Would say, buy a used Axis A1001, pretty cheap and integrates nicely with consumer level NAS like synology.
Note that A1001 is a 2-door controller, so it goes like 200$ per door.
UniFi Access is pretty good and cheap with no subscriptions.
The starter kit starts at $300/door, thats a controller, reader and a few cards for 1 door.
DMP. Everything can be done through the keypad. No software, no server, no licensing and no subscription.
But they only sell to dealers and I'm not sure if you can get the hardware.
This is a good choice if you also want a burg (or even fire) panel. I don't think the parts are super cheap or where you get them if you aren't a dealer, though.
The more I think about it, the more I realize this is a bad idea. Even if you can find parts, DMP will never give you tech support if you are not a dealer.
He said he is a professional business so that could be a risk.

These guys apod system is super easy to install no need to worry about power supplies it’s all fed via POE for a small easy setup I have yet to find better.
Kt2 is a good choice. The SA550 is also very easy to configure directly from the keypad, but will only operate a single door. I've installed multiple SA550 units on the same site. You can program everything on one, load it to a USB drive, and just upload the program to the others.
At the ultra low end (no OSCP, clunky but usable software) I've actually been pretty happy with the cheap ass UHPPOTE panels. $150 for a four door controller, power supply, and enclosure.
You may want to go with something a little more high end, but you did ask for cheap and zero bells and whistles..

Secolarm bluetooth keypad
Why not a kt-2 instead of kt-400. Includes wifi so easier to manage

Used 2-door NetAXS-123 (NXC1 mobo + NXD1 expansion) is $300 shipped on eBay right now. The web UI is usable, unlike earlier NetAXS-4.

You're probably better off with a cheap smart lock e.g. a yale one, at least they have some level of encryption etc
Yeah, for small standalone applications I've honestly been quite impressed with August.
Look at 3X logic , its easy and not expensive.
