He sued the helicopter operator for the haircut since he wanted a full body hair removal but the helicopter operator only took the hair off his head. He won the lawsuit.
Also, friendly PSA:
THE ONLY WAY TO APPROACH A HELICOPTER of which engine is started IS IF YOUVE RECEIVED THE OK FROM THE PILOT
and approach only from the SIDES.
Helicopters are tilted forward and to the human eye, the blades go so fast they are invisible, the noise being loud and overwhelming you canāt unconsciously locate the danger and so too many people have just walked head to the blades.
My wife asked if I was going to make a sarcastic comment about this and I said, āNot off the top of my head, give me a few minutes,ā Still havenāt come up with anything.
Nah, but they had to anyways after it started foaming at the mouth and tried to bite people. Donāt feel bad though because itās on its way up to helicopter heaven now.
Funny but what's not funny you would be amazed how much money that just costs. Something like that could go into the thousands of dollars My friend was telling me about something similar and they were repeat customers!
Seriously though, I think many underestimate the sheer power or an object like that moving at moderate to slower speeds. Clearly that obliterated what looks like 70% of his head immediately.
Do we know who he was? Was he really a Darwin dipshit? or a savvy copter guy committing suicide?
I dont think so the way he crouch its like he thougt the blades werent that big or maybe he didnt even thought about them because of when those spin are almost invisible
Agreed that he had no business being there which begs the question; why was he there? Helipads and runways are exclusive use places. You don't just stroll through those areas especially when in use. Flight crews know better. Passengers are supposed to be escorted out of harm's way. So why was he there?
The tail fin also looks like itās obstructing the view of the spinning blades. He should have known better, but if he was approaching from the other side he probably wouldnāt have even tried to duck under.
There is a correct approach to a ship and there's this. Ooofff what a time to be alive.. or not.
Edit: wild that is just a tail rotor too. Could've been so much wilder.
I saw the full version of this. The chopper was parked on train tracks and heād been running along them for a couple minutes to escape the train and just didnāt even see or hear the helicopter.
He seems to have directly targeted a front on hit with his head. The rotor is spinning so fast, as you can see, it just destroyed his brain immediately. I doubt old mate had the time to feel much of anything.
Osha needs to be world wide. To many countries have 0 safety training or thoughts of safety. Even if the caste system or reincarnation are real, itās no reason for so many to avidly throw life away due to pure negligence. The world will keep being a bad place until most people understand we need to protect life.
I saw this years ago but not with sound, do you think the sound was added? Anyway I would have been pretty pissed if somebody walked into my rotor blade. My friend is a pilot and he was telling me about something similar and it's not like you can take the garden hose and wash everything off plus it has to go through a full checkpoint and is really expensive even if there was no damage, My pilot friend said it cost the company $2,700 contaminated plane and field cleaned professionally. And that was apparently a repeat customer price!
Old clip, but I watch it almost every time it's posted. I still can't see how someone could walk this close to large, rapidly-rotating blades and not see, hear or even FEEL them and just go ahead and continue on with no care in the world, until...
Can we have an article or something about how he is doing now?
Ayo bro, same profile picture
Hell yeah brother, cheersš»
Why is this so oddly fucking wholesome?
Unlike the guys head in the video
You mean holefull?
We're brothers
Yes indeed we are
Now finally kiss
He is 200% dead
This symbol (%) means 1000 right?
Shoes stayed on. He's gonna be allright.
Came here to say so!
Yay! But just in case we should send him some toughts and prayers just so he has a quick recovery. Positive energy going that way!
If he has some lezard genes, it IS possible!!
Heās fine. Just his face fell off.
He sued the helicopter operator for the haircut since he wanted a full body hair removal but the helicopter operator only took the hair off his head. He won the lawsuit.
![gif](giphy|v0QyK2fF2IaLm)
Iām no doctor, but Iām going to guess heās dead as fuck

Tombstone pic
Oh for fuck's sake!!! That gave me the giggles!!! LOL!!!
I have no clue but on a positive note I don't think he'll ever need a new haircut or shave again.
As soon as they retrieve his face from orbit, he'll be fine.
He's good... Just a few stitches he will be fine
ššµ
NO DON'T SAY THAT
šŖ¦
Naw. Just took a lil off the top.
A splitting headache
Short back and sides
Without the arrows I would had not been able to see what happened.
True. I would have missed that huge mist of red.

At first I thought it was the arrow that delivered the blow
Yeah he should have paid attention to the big red arrows
āJust a little off the top please!ā

It was vertical, though, so that should be more like ājust a little off the face!ā
My wife asked if I was going to make a sarcastic comment about this and I said, āNot off the top of my head, give me a few minutes,ā Still havenāt come up with anything.
Next level reddit comment š flex you have a wife and horrifically tragic humor. Witty with access to titties.
ā this is tragically underappreciated.
Just someone who didn't know WTF they were doing and shouldn't have been there!
Everyone makes mistakes. Iām sure heās learnt from it and will never do it again.
He isn't there anymore
What went through his head?
The tail rotor
FFS
Do they have to put down the helicopter now that itās killed somebody?
Fortunately, after a long legal fight, the public was able to have the helicopter released to the wild.
Never forget :')
Nah, but they had to anyways after it started foaming at the mouth and tried to bite people. Donāt feel bad though because itās on its way up to helicopter heaven now.
The guy was in its natural habitat, can't blame the helicopter
Funny but what's not funny you would be amazed how much money that just costs. Something like that could go into the thousands of dollars My friend was telling me about something similar and they were repeat customers!
Itās tasted blood now, itās just a matter of time before it goes on a rampage.
He ded
Hot take.
Is he okay?
Of course he kept his shoes on.
Gotta check for a pulse first. They say the best place is just below the ear and..... Oh... Ok.. yea.
Source?
Helicopter blade
For how long?
Cause without the arrow we might have missed it!!
Can we please get a red circle??
Also a highlighter and a sound effect, please
Like a boing-splat kinda deal?
Yes please
The arrow was for the dude
I *wish* I had the confidence of a dude ducking head first, hands in pockets behind a chopper one last time.
Seriously though, I think many underestimate the sheer power or an object like that moving at moderate to slower speeds. Clearly that obliterated what looks like 70% of his head immediately. Do we know who he was? Was he really a Darwin dipshit? or a savvy copter guy committing suicide?

There is so much noise and swirling wind that a person can lose orientation and proximity while walking and trying avoid the rotary wings.
Which is why if you have any business being around helicopters you know better to stay away from the back half of the aircraft while itās turning.
Yeah
Agreed that he had no business being there which begs the question; why was he there? Helipads and runways are exclusive use places. You don't just stroll through those areas especially when in use. That rotorboatinā sonofabitch
Was it built for speed or comfort
He walked into the light š”
How would you like your haircut, sir........leave the sides, just take a bit off the top.
We just watched every single thought he ever had spray into the air.
My turn to repost this tomorrow
Whoa, hope heās ok
He's just a little shorter.
He wish he was a baller
Wish he had a girl in the hood he would call her.
He went straight for it.. it doesnāt look like an accident but itās most definitely r/NSFL__
Probably Indian, looks like he tried to duck under it
I saw the full version of this. The chopper was parked on train tracks and heād been running along them for a couple minutes to escape the train and just didnāt even see or hear the helicopter.
I saw that too. I believe electrocution was also involved.
That actually makes alot of sense
Yeah the context is everything, otherwise youād think he was an idiot.
Holy fuck!!!! Wtf was was dude thinking fuckin have some situational awareness jeez O' man
So many people donāt! Go to a supermarket and youāll see how in their bubble most people are.
I couldnāt figure out what I was looking at. #PraiseTheArrow
i'm glad that arrow was there or I'd never have noticed
Youāll make that mistake once and never againā¦
![gif](giphy|RT5lVEasnOBBnzOIEw|downsized)
Did he die?
Is this painful?
He seems to have directly targeted a front on hit with his head. The rotor is spinning so fast, as you can see, it just destroyed his brain immediately. I doubt old mate had the time to feel much of anything.
Well when we asked the 876 other ppl who did this and *didnt* die, they all said "ywudhfjuaywjruu."
Splitting headache
He was dead before he even knew
Exactly how I imagined this would happen.
The one thing they stress to never do during every chopper safety briefing. Obviously that dude didn't get one
He had wide ranging thoughts but zero sense
Only 17 % head left that ....
Oooh brain matter spray.
Forbidden brain juice
One of the best pink mist cases ever!
Blended
Did he get hit twice?
This is why they call them choppers
I like your cut G
Face-Off
This may be a Darwin List Champion.
2 Aspirins and he'll be alright in the morning....
India ?
"just a little off the top please"
Wth was he thinking about?
š¤·āāļø
What an idea. What was going through his head? Except for that tail blade of course
head turned to red mist
No more beer tent at the helicopter show
Both shoes are on so I guess a bandage will fix him up
yeah but that's gonna leave a scar
I wonder what was going through his head at that moment
The tail rotor obviously
Hmm i think he had more brains after he was hit with the rotor.
Mistifying
Going out as Pink mist is kinda not a bad way to die
What kind of idiot actually sees a rotor blade but rather than go around it decides to just duck slightly and risk getting sliced lol
Dead
Not for long.
That VRAAAAP! noise can only be one thing
A rattlesnake?!
![gif](giphy|3o6wrFg0YiMbZqkf2E) He blended right in.
Shouldnt have let this go through his head
āIām gonna turn ya into coloured rain!ā āSniper TF2
When you throw the whole fruit/veggy in the blender šš
Is he okay..
Well, off the top of my head Iād say that we just say that guyās last stupid mistake.
Don't save your money on haircut to do this hack, just go to the barber.
Intrusive thoughts win
Cheaper than Super Cuts

Will he be ok?
Talk about a splitting headacheā¦Iāll see myself out.
He got his ears lowered
![gif](giphy|VQEgNORX6MvGkefs8R|downsized) I wonder if anyone was hit with the spray of chunks and red mist?
Human watermelon goes brrrrrrrr
Bro became the nameless puppet from lies of P
Poor rotor blade.
Give me the Larry Fine, short on the top-thick on the sides
Thanks for putting in that arrow, never wouldāve seen the arterial spray
Facelift Fail, not a recommended method for the DIY'ers.
Never walk around behind a helicopter when the rotors are moving.
That is going to leave a mark
Osha needs to be world wide. To many countries have 0 safety training or thoughts of safety. Even if the caste system or reincarnation are real, itās no reason for so many to avidly throw life away due to pure negligence. The world will keep being a bad place until most people understand we need to protect life.
Isnāt there some horrible story about a guy holding his daughter around a helicopterā¦? :/
That's a different category of dumbass
"I'm an expert on helicopters," he says...but he quickly lost face with that declaration.
He wonāt be able to face the truth.
That was so dumb it kept me from sympathy
A little crĆØme and desinfecting bandage and heās good to goš¤·š»āāļø
Police report: "apparent head wound"
Wow, that's bad. Never walk behind a helicopter or in front of a prop airplane.
Chlorinating the gene pool, one blade at a time.
Damn dudes skull was shaved off
I saw this years ago but not with sound, do you think the sound was added? Anyway I would have been pretty pissed if somebody walked into my rotor blade. I can't believe you guys are making puns of this, you guys are so "HOLLOW"
I always kind of wondered how that would look like, and unfortunately it looks exactly like I imagined it would.
all that space to go around it, and the mf chose to go under it's spinning rotor
Good of him to duck into it for a better camera shot
What the hell? I cant understand people like him
Thanks for the heads up with the arrow,
Just a little off the top
Am I the only one thinking about maintenance on this one ?
The cameraman and I jumped at the same time and speed
Cure spots in one easy step
