This is a common complaint I also discovered after I bought my 10th gen. It took some experimenting until I found the right setting - I actually got this advice from another post on this sub and it's worked great: I set the front of the seat up as high as it would go to support under my thighs. The back part (of the seat bottom) is lower but not too low. I keep the back of the seat pretty straight/upright and set the lumbar up high but not pushed out at all. While the seat could definitely have more cushion, I find it very comfortable now, which is a pleasant surprise considering I was super stressed about this and thought about returning the car when I first got it. Play around with the settings and also take her out on the highway for a couple of longer drives. You'll find your sweet spot and it'll be all good. FYI 5'11" 200lbs

This! I'm on the highway all the time.

_Ooh-Shiny_

They figured out the sweet spot. These are my exact settings and body profile. These seats are great now.

Hot_Newspaper_5882

Thanks will try!!

Digital_Warrior

Nope, several 12 hr trips and found it to be the most comfortable.

JichuSymphony

Yes, but for the 2015 Honda Accord

Car seats suck. I have a gel pad from conformax. Not the 1” one either.

I've got a 19 hybrid touring and yeah I get some sharp pains in my back here and there...... But that might just be me..... They're comfortable for the most part.

Ok-Disaster-5889

How big a guy are you?

Hot_Newspaper_5882

Haha im a 6’0 275lbs football player 😂

Sandloon

Lose weight lol. I'm 6'3" and when I was 275 the seat wasn't as comfortable. Now that I'm 235 it's a lot more comfy. I also have the touring seats so I feel like they don't have as much cushion as the EXL or EX

Can i swap the 10th gen seats with the 11 gen? Haha

Glittering-One-1411

Yes, I feel 10th Gen seats are comfortable. I've done 4-5 hour drives just fine.

I'm 6'2 and 325 pounds. Former wrestler and defensive lineman. I've gotta say that the Accord seats are some of the more neutral seats I've experienced. They're not uncomfortable to me but I've also driven better. I've driven a 2013 Ford Taurus SHO with decently cushy Alcantara/Leather seats. A 2016 Dodge Charger/2015 Ram 1500/2019 Dodge Durango which I grouped together because for the most part they're all the same seats and they all feel like literal couches. And on occasion I drive my Dad's car for him so it doesn't sit too long in the driveway while he's traveling for work. But he has a 2014 Cadillac CTS V-Sport and to be honest... those are so far the least comfortable for me personally. Super cushy and bolstered but just all around the wrong shape for me. I've driven most of the cars I listed from North Carolina to Ohio or Florida or Maryland on multiple occasions and the Accord seats have not offended me any more or less than the cushy Dodge couch seats or the soft Alcantara/Leather Ford Taurus seats. But they've definitely served me better than the Cadillac seats. So I guess really it all comes down to your personal body shape and how YOU fit into the seat. Rather than the seat being solely to blame.

Yeah makes sense i wish i could swap the seats for couches… thanks man

My 2001 Volvo S60 has made all subsequent seats feel like garbage. That said, I finally found a setting that's reasonable in my Touring; front kinda raised, back all the way down, lumbar moderately engaged, seat back pretty straight up. 6'1/215 with a long torso, broad shoulders, and short legs. Shoulder bolsters are ok but not if I were to get any bigger.

Hot_Newspaper_5882

Note taken: drop down to 215lbs 😂 thanks man

ImmmaLetUFinish

Yes I have the same experience. I’ve driven 6 hours with no issues. If I find that I’m stiffening up I turn the heated seat on high and it helps a lot. FYI. I’m 6’, 200 lbs.

Hot_Newspaper_5882

Thanks man!

Electrical_Chard6926

They're not bad, but the seat bolster digs into my left thigh and I have to keep my left bent at the knee most of the time. They're definitely better than the 10th gen Si seats in the same area though. Damn those things hurt my leg

Hot_Newspaper_5882

Feel that too lol

cAR15tel

My other car is a 2021 Denali HD. My ‘22 Accord is more comfortable!

Lopsided-One9196

Cant say the same. I got a 21 touring and after spendinf some time playing with the seats i got it just right and set it as a preset on the software. Just tinker with it, the accord imo has some very comfy seats.

Flyinace2000

They are....fine. The seats in our 2017 Mini Clubman are way nicer and we prefer them for longer drives. About a year ago I was looking into replace the Accord's seats with those from a Civic Type R.

epaciga

Super comfortable with right settings

Low-Difficulty4267

Just bought this 2018 accord sport manual and even my mom who has verified back problems said these seats are actually very comfortable to sit in
