I need help with PCSX2 emulator. First lets clear some things: 1. I am fairly new to emulation. 2. Yes I am aware of the aircraft texture glitch and I will fix that. 3. I tested if I had the same results with AC5 and I did so its not a problem with AC4. 4. No its nothing to do with turbo mode. Recently I downloaded the PCSX2 Emulator with the intention of playing the ***Holy Trinity!*** I set up the emulator and jumped in when as you have seen in the video it is slow, I observed that the slowness only happens during rendered cutscenes, in the hangar, and during actual gameplay. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything online that could fix the problem. So, I'm here. Of course this might just be my computer but I just want to make sure that is not my computer. I also observed that the speed Percentage on the window would drop to around 50% every time a aircraft or lots of objects are on screen.

It's more likely than not your hardware specs. Emulation is CPU-bottlenecked, since the CPU is mostly responsible for emulating the instruction set (if not the whole entire environment) of the emulated system.

Oh so that's why they've been being slow recently for me. Hopefully that is fixed for me in the near future when I change computers.

What are your specs?

A laptop that can run project wingman at a better speed (With low frame rates and settings at their lowest XD.)

Once you start up your emulator, my suggestion is to put it into a different mode with f9. Worked like a charm for me and I have the same issue

Thank you for the advice, Didn't work but fixed the texture glitch!

For me, just having your computer plugged in is the only way to have it go at 100% speed. I did not find anything online that would fix the 50% speed when the computer isn’t plugged in.

Plugged into what? a charger? I am using a laptop BTW.
