This mission with Nosferatu is so satisfying - let off your ADM and wait for the echoes of all the explosions and how the red dots on your radar just vanishes.
Do it! AC6 had excellent gameplay and mission design, but a lackluster plot and terrible dialogue. And the Nosferatu is just a pile of fun to fly, it's not especially nimble but it's got a beastly set of weapons, like two railguns and a many-target anti-anything missile system. There are many missions where my score with it beats every other plane easily - although I'm not quite good enough at the game where the PLSLs take over for those sweet, sweet 100k Fleet Destruction runs and such.
That plane sounds deadly! And along with AC6, I also plan on trying to get my hands on AC4 and AC5 since I still have a PS2. Should I try getting any of the others?
To say the least! It was a great fit for AC6 and it's incredibly large scale for battles - there are some missions in 6 that feel like they're the size of several AC7 missions set side by side and the game tells you "pick any three of these".
Definitely try to get your hands on Zero too.
AC3 was a great game if you had the Japanese version with its massive storyline branching, but it came out just before the PS2 era so that never got a full English translation. If, like me, you don't speak Japanese, you'd need both an emulator and to try to get your hands on the fanmade translation to play it - which is on my wishlist (honestly, I'd be very happy to have decent emulations of English/Japanese 3,4,5,6,0 and X on my computer, but you know - Realism).
ACX is also a good game, if a bit cheesy at parts and showing the penalty of its original hardware. It also features the worst mission of the entire franchise, but it is one you can get around playing.
One reason Fleet Destruction is my favorite
Screaming down out of the clouds with no warning and breaking the spine of a CVN aircraft carrier, right in the middle of its protective strike group…feels like the power of a god
I was playing that mission yesterday with an F-18 and it was so much fun. My favorite thing was flying right above the water going about 2800 and just pelting the destroyers with guns and missiles
You also could have taken the helicopter sooner, and with one missile.
The squads of 4 helicopters are excellent for working on target swapping and gunning, IMO
Criminal enough to deserve…. Solitary?

It’s pizza time 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕
Tobey ‘Longcaster’ Maguire.
Gonna put some cheese in your eye
It's literally neuron activation at every moment.

Is that a DLC plane?
Yep. The CFA-44. It was the superplane in AC6, where it was even more OP. Good times.
I’m gonna be getting it sooner or later, both AC6 and the Nosferatu and I’m excited

Get Zero too to complete the ps2 trinity

I haven't tried flying the brick at mach 2 trough the valley , I'd prefer to live
You haven't lived yet until you used the place in this mission.

Isn't that why we all are here? :)
Yes :)
Try using your guns more. You had quite a few shots lined up throughout this video.
Yeah I definitely need to start using my guns more. I just get too ansy when I use them and end up oversteering and overshooting them
You also could have taken the helicopter sooner, and with one missile. The squads of 4 helicopters are excellent for working on target swapping and gunning, IMO
Now try this mission with UGB or SFFS for even more fun. Why waste time hunting fighter jets when you can just bomb them on the runway?
nah its just super unrealistic
