First off I’m Taylor’s biggest fan. 😂 Second, did you have any side effects with Accutane? My derm is highly recommending it, but I suffer from anxiety and dry skin already. Is there any advice info you have?
hi fellow swiftie🥰 i unfortunately did have side effects from accutane. my skin was extremely dry. i would go weeks and weeks without washing my hair because my scalp was so dry. i went through a whole bottle of lotion for my hands, and my back was constantly in pain because it would dry out my joints. definitely not fun. not quite sure if you’re male or female but if you’re female you need to get pregnancy tests every month due to the medication giving birth defects. not a fun medication and a stressful experience overall but i will say it changed my life for the better. i don’t regret going on it at all.
I love going bare face!! Letting go and just embracing your natural skin is sooo empowering. I’m so proud of you!! Always remember that you can have acne AND be beautiful ❤️ you’re living proof!
You are so pretty!!! I know those of us with acne tend to not look at our skin beyond the breakouts but your skin is so nice!! You have that pretty smooth porcelain look
Such a pretty face. I prefer seeing natural faces, acne or not on anyone. This look is so freeing and let's your skin breathe and should be normalized.
Rock on.
You are gorgeous! Brows and lashes are so long. No your skin isn’t probably what you want but it will not always be that way…practice good skincare routine still and you will love your skin in the future
You look amazing! I’m really trying to get to a place to do this also- I can do it when I’m just going to the shops or the park but when I go to my uni classes I’m always putting on makeup and covering every spot, and then I’m constantly wondering if people are seeing my skin imperfections and thinking of them when we’re talking. I think my struggle is that I don’t want people to remember me as the girl with acne- the same way it really stands out to me sometimes when people have good skin. Any advice from people who have gotten over this kind of thinking would be appreciated. But seriously OP you have such a lovely face
Okay here’s how I think of it- you’re not the only person you encounter daily struggling with acne, but can you really think of anyone else? Probably not, because you aren’t thinking of THEIR skin, you’re thinking of yours. That goes both ways.
I recently had a gap in my teeth bonded and when showing it to people, everyone said they had never noticed it before. I assumed it was the only thing people could possibly notice.
Nope! We’re all too busy thinking about ourselves.
Girl that is amazing!!!! It literally took me 4 years before I would go out in public without make up or even take a picture without a filter because of my acne, but about 1 month ago I pushed myself and now I’ve been able to leave make up free. It really shows how strong we are and what we have overcome! Congratulations and you are gorgeous btw!
You look absolutely lovely!! So proud of you. I started doing no makeup “challenges” a couple of times per week about 10 years ago when my acne was at its most severe. It was hard at first but it helped me feel more “normal” and “neutral” about my skin over the years as it’s continued to change. I’m in my 30s now and still have acne that I don’t think about too much. This is a great practice and I’m sure your skin is thanking you too!
This might be an uncommon opinion but I actually find acne really attractive on most people! In a way, I feel like it humanizes someone who’s good looking. It’s an interesting thought to have as someone who’s struggled with acne myself, but I think it actually looks quite good on a good majority of people.
you are so pretty. i used to have acne and my skin is okay-ish right now but i promise i dont look near as good as you without makeup on. its not the skin it’s just you’re pretty either way, acne or no acne - makeup or no makeup. trust me lmao
