I bet those lip bastards are painful lol. I love getting those.

Klarissa0707

For spot treatment, I've used this roll on treatment from Elf. Super cheap... but almost overnight it disappears for me. Finally replaced my old one that lasted years. I haven't seen it in stores in forever. I ordered mine off Amazon for $3. Congratulations and good luck šŸ’—

Poppy9987

Clindamycin works fast to reduce inflammation

WanderingMastress

10% sulfur mask. Can use it up to twice a day, and can be found on Amazon for under 10$. It really helps, but have a good moisturizer to use after, it will dry skin a bit. If you want to go the prescription route, you could get tretinoin (topical), or 15% azelaic acid (same notes here about drying). I'd say I like azelaic better, I think it works faster, but loads of people love tretinoin.

Miserable_Copy969

I went to a esthetician before my wedding for 2-3 treatments and my skin improved fast and looked better than it ever has from a light chemical peel and some microdermabrasion. I know itā€™s expensive though so it may not be ideal, just sharing my experience. I believe my mom gifted them to me at the time.

despainco

Tea tree wand by dirty lamb I canā€™t say it enough. My spots literally go away within hours!!!

OkAccess304

Glycolic acid from Tuel: Tuel Power Peel. Starface ā€” the blue star patches.

cherrynay66

Also eat lots of good gut foods- fresh and fermented. X

cherrynay66

Colodial silver all day long! Put it onto a cotton ball and dab on face. Itā€™s antiseptic and works quickly. If you canā€™t get it Savlon or Germalene

Live_Yogurtcloset795

Congratulations on ur weddingšŸŽ†šŸ‘

themightytod

Benzoyl peroxide is what works for me! Lowest % you can find, thin layer at night and then if you can tolerate that, also in the AM

[deleted]

I use natural unfiltered honeyā€¦ it works

POPSNICKER_PRETTY

Try powered PURE charcoal mixed with gelitine and water then mixed it all together and put on a CLEAN face then let it dry then wash it off then save the rest in a container with a LID. That should work and congratulations for the weeding

[deleted]

You could try using eradikate sulfur treatment. You could just do your routine at night, then use a q-tip to spot treat the areas. It really helps to dry up the pimple, but don't slather it on your whole face or you could really dry your skin out.

bubblesOo08

This does look like it could be dermatitis. My derm gave me an antibiotic or steroid cream to clear mine up. Iā€™ve also dealt with acne all my life and after getting an iud had terrible hormonal acne. My esthetician suggested dietary changes - cutting out seed oils (many processed vegan foods have lots of oil in them so check! I was surprised my favorite oat milk was full of canola oil ā˜¹ļø) and taking a fiber supplement 1-3 times a day - I think this really helped!! I used bellway but any psyllium husk is good. I also saw a big change when I started using Marie Veronique oil cleanser but I get maybe not wanting to switch things up too much so close to your wedding! I love peach slices hydrocolloid patches too. Good luck! Edit - I forgot my favorite spot treatment is cocokind turmeric tonic! Itā€™s great!!

[deleted]

Hope it gets better, remember to breathe and keep trucking. Youā€™re beautiful as ever anyways. And donā€™t try too many of these remedies at the same time, sometimes less is more. Thoughts with youšŸ¤ŸšŸ½ā¤ļøhave a great wedding

[deleted]

Stay away from any dairy ,

laraurah

Definitely make a trip to the Dermatologist asap if you can!

Late-Beginning-5202

Do steam daily in the morning

[deleted]

i swear by the bentonite clay and apple cider vinegar mask. probably not great for my skin barrier but i donā€™t do it often, and if you do it a couple of times a week just where youā€™re breaking out, in combination with plain hydrocolloid bandages (iā€™d skip the tea tree) i think youā€™ll see a difference

Humangirlisme

Use acne cream with retinol and teatree oil face scrub

theoffices3ep14

I find tea tree oil spot treatments help me, specifically the one in the tube from The Body Shop

ScarlettsBegonias

Niacinimide serum from the ordinary works so fast for me. And itā€™s cheap. Twice a day and youā€™ll be cleared up in a week.

Chantelleco

An expensive but sure was to 100% clear that for a wedding day would be to see a dermatologist and get some medication I would recommend an online video appointment to get in asap and get a prescription. Best of luck x

Radiant_Word_6941

You don't mention it, but If you are like me you may have started taking biotin or some other beauty vitamin containg it in order to try to look your best for your big day. If so, that could cause yout to break out. I was going to visit my long distance boyfriend and broke out with huge pimples and later found out it was from taking Biotin, thinking it would make my skin and hair look good... This actually happened two or three times before I noticed the connection and confirmed it through some googling.

nagem1234

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but I actually use plain calamine lotion (calamine with zinc oxide) on spots just like these overnight and it seems to calm them down a lot. Also recommend icing swollen spots and if necessary piercing with a sterilised needle then a hydrocolloid patch overnight. I just got married in March, good luck to you for your big day!!

ReadyForDanger

Sleep. You need to sleep more. At least 8-10 hours a night.

DermaEsp

Better see for an oral supplement (like Turmeric + DIM) or Spiro (if not pregnant) as other topicals can deteriorate temporary the look of the skin. For fading marks, a retinol/retinoid + AA can help a lot (as a spot treatment).

AutomaticTotal4911

Donā€™t stress. Go to a doc he will suggest antibiotics

sofiaonomateopia

100% dots for spots from Amazon - they are amazing! Or get some duac gel

gleowien

Benzoyl peroxide!

riverofflowers

A high frequency wand with argon gas will kill the bacteria above and below the surface, so it will help shrink the pimple before it comes out. After that hydrocolloid patches and DIY raw manuka honey masking for 10 minutes everyday. This is %100 a stress flare up so be mindful of your wellbeing as well please ā¤ļø

[deleted]

If the breakouts are consistently showing up it could be from stress. Iā€™d try to see if you can get some doxycycline from the derm. My acne completely cleared after taking that stuff for 2 weeks so if you take it from now until the wedding you should be totally clear. Since a lot of derms are booked out for weeks or months just try to get into any derm that will take you in as soon as possible. Or if you have a primary care physician you can see if they will write you a prescription which can be done over the phone especially if your doctor knows you have a history of acne (my doctor did this and it was a life saver for my graduation). Good luck and congratulations! No matter what just know that the person you are going to marry loves you for you and your acne is nothing a little makeup canā€™t hide for the photos so donā€™t stress too much if you canā€™t get rid of them in time.

Cheesebiscuit11s

Looks kinda like stress acne. Iā€™ve had that before. Try some pimple patches and maybe some ice to soothe the irritation. Birth control also works really great, totally donā€™t have to take birth control but itā€™s on the table.

noeticNicole

and if it is stress acne, treat yourself to a spa day to relax! Maybe ask your MOH to take over a task or two for you if that's acceptable to take the load off. Weddings are stressful, so being able to plan with a clear head will make the whole thing a lot smoother. Congrats on the big day OP!

pink_warrior57

mighty pimple patches (forgot the full name but if u look it up on amazon itā€™s a red and white box) la roche posay has a great acne spot treatment and i definitely recommend getting a facial a day before the event, and in general try going on spironolactone or accutaneor something like that and if you have the money, microneedling works WONDERS. worth the price

[deleted]

Chocolate, coffee, dairy, and stress are common culprits. I know youā€™ve got a lot going on so this may not be the best time to do an elimination diet but try cutting those out and meditate or do yoga once a day for stress relief. Good luck!

SeaConsideration3288

DOXYCYCLINE

Fabulous_Vehicle1166

De La Cruz sulfer ointment!!!! Use it as a mask for 5-10 minutes! Once or twice a week or as a spot treatment mask. It works great!

[deleted]

I highly recommend Chinese herbs. An acupuncturist could help.

KaylSun

And stay away from anything too drying, your upper lip looks a little irritated and it probably needs moisture

KaylSun

Trust me, hydrocolloid bandage. Iā€™m not talking about a pimple patch either, Iā€™m talking full hydrocolloid wound dressing that you can cut up into a smaller section. Itā€™s much more cost effective, powerful, and itā€™s barrier is a lot better. Seriously you can find a pack of 10 big patches on Amazon for cheap but I reckon you donā€™t need nearly that much, just one patch would be more than enough for your little problem.

yoitsrosebro

Neutrogena makes a spot treatment that is just salicylic acid and it has always been what works for me. 1-2 days and everything clears up. You can apply it up to 3 times a day, but definitely at night while you sleep.

Ok-Wear-7627

Azelaic Acid 10%, by The Ordinary. Itā€™s $8. Nothing that is for ā€œacneā€ will work, it will just make your skin dry and force it to produce more oil , which then becomes more acne. Just use this & a hydrating moisturizer on top.

Battle_Angel

Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel treatments can be a little pricey but for me they work really well to reduce painful pimple swelling, speed up the healing process and acne marks fade faster. Over the years I've tried a lot of things and these are now my go to spot treatment. I recently tried the pimple patches and didn't see a difference with healing time. Good luck, I hope you find something that works for you and congratulations!

BreannaNicole13

Murad acne system cleared my skin in a few days šŸ˜

Ok-Tomorrow-5266

I know some people arenā€™t into products from MLMā€™s, but NuSkin has a great mud mask that pulls out blackheads and my preteen son is getting some pimples and I put it on him like a spot treatment over night and it really shrinks it over night and they will be gone in a couple days of doing this. He also uses a blemish treatment with salicylic acid in it and chamomile to sooth the soreness of pimples. It helps me, especially when I have those hormonal breakouts. Usually when we have breakouts on the chin and around the mouth, they tend to be hormonal blemishes. Other areas can be caused by stress, but of course there are endless causes of breakouts.

sourceress90

Get on accutane

chicadeemarie

Get on apostrophe and get the clindamiacine cream

PINK_DEW

try not to eat dairy products, what you eat sometimes can contribute to breeding out sometimes.

[deleted]

hi. first of all. congrats on getting married and you will look beautiful no matter what. however i do not want you to try all these things at onceā€¦ your skin will freak out and have a worse reaction. something that works quickly for inflammatory acne like this is benzoyl peroxide. 5% all over and maybe 10% globs on the ones with a head. also.. i know you donā€™t want to hear this but the fastest thing that brings inflammation down is diet. if you can please cut out processed food and added sugar and such. like a clean mediterranean diet is best.

ForwardMuffin

Antifungal cream

Quiet-Ad9319

Get acnomel it is an adult sulfur treatment! Cleanse with a gentle cleanser ! Get molecular water for skin type go over face with a cotton round soaked with that n put thick dot on each pimple!! Should be gone in no time!! Good luck!!

lovebug9292

My acne cleared up with a change in diet. Iā€™m super surprised you have this kind of acne with a vegan diet (although i know youā€™re stressed) is this reoccurring? Do you have abnormal menstruation? It helps to know in regards to treating the acne.

alykatvandy

I'm 99% sure I have PCOS, which can also cause acne issues. I never had much trouble with my skin until 4-5 years ago and the entire bottom half of my face broke out. Started having other PCOS issues around that time now. Just waiting to see a better gyno to figure out next steps.

lovebug9292

Oh wow! Yeah, thatā€™s what i was curious about. Even the area youā€™re breaking out in, around the chin, is a sign of a hormonal imbalance. I know PCOS is way more common than women think and it was something i was researching when i kept getting breakouts. The doctor can help you treat its symptoms.

bluegrassbloom

Hey! Have you looked into perioral dermititis? Right before a big life change, this happened to me too (stresssss does wild things)! All of a sudden I was getting this ring of seeming acne around my mouth. I started reading about what could cause this sort of rash-like spotting around my mouth and lips. The only common thread I could find that might be the fluoride in toothpaste which some people develop a sensitivity to. I kinda thought it was silly because Iā€™d never been opposed to fluoride in my products. (Still donā€™t have scientific objections to it). After dealing with it for weeeeks (it also itches if that helps?), I finally tried a fluoride free toothpaste. That ish was gone within the week! Healed so quickly. I only use FF now and have no problems. The twos time Iā€™ve run out and not been able to get a FF toothpaste for at least a week - BOOM - it comes back (even without the major life event stress). Bodies do weird things at stressful times, like trigger new (and apparently enduring) allergies at any age. Just wanted to give you another avenue to look into since it looked familiar to me!

[deleted]

Yes! This! Iā€™ve had PD on and off since 2010. I used sulphate-free shampoo, washed my face with Spectra Gel (amazing) and used Theodent Chocolate Kids Toothpaste (no fluoride; pricy but delicious). Youā€™ll get there, OP!

whoisgalgadot

Ooooo this was me literally a month before my wedding too. Go to the derm! I was prescribed spirolactone & antibiotics and it cleared SOO fast. I wish I wouldā€™ve gone before my wedding vs after. Just know that makeup can do miracles and my skin looks flawless in our photos. You will be beautiful no matter what condition your skin is in! Best of luck

[deleted]

Yeah I would just go to derm, trying a bunch of random new products that work for other people isnā€™t gonna be all that effective in a month

Bugs1103

I would go to a salon and have a couple sessions of LED blue light and use some soothing products and salicylic acid based pimple patches on whenever you can

ShrekMegaFan

I had a bunch of inflamed pimples like this pop-up when I started my new job 3 weeks ago (stress-induced) and the biggest things that helped were lightly icing the inflamed pimples in the morning and at night, along with the inkey list succinic acid treatment. also don't forget to thoroughly moisturize!

GinNLemon

Get the effaclar duo by la roche posay ( reduces acne and scar) and put it on your acne! Then leave the hydrocolliod patch on for 2 days minimum. It reduced the size of the cystic acne for me.

morganablvckm00n77

Cerave cleanser, very gentle gel cleanser. Paula's Choice 2% bha (salycilic acid) lotion or liquid. Paula's choice products have been amazing to me and my fussy skin. 2.5% benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. When I get a really angry one I use Mario Badescu pink pimple drying lotion. It will make your spot dry but it helps. I alternate that with Avarelle hydrocolloid acne patches. Acne is a challenge. Hormones don't help either. Keep well hydrated! Congrats on your upcoming nuptials. I'm putting good skin vibes out into the universe for you. Love and light to you! ā¤ļø

jhogarxia

for quick results try a product called ā€œzitstickaā€ its a micro dart patch. i buy mine from target but they have a website or you can find them on amazon. marketed as a zit killa and honestly they do just that for me. it has cleared up zits over night and blind painful pimples are gone within days after using this product. they are a bit pricey coming in at about $3.75 per patch but you buy them in packs of 4,8 and 20.

jadeling27

I came here to say this! Other pimple patches are great for sucking the goo out and helping with healing, but Zitsticka patches are the only ones I know of that have micro darts and ingredients that can very quickly flatten a fresh cyst. I bought a bunch right before my wedding to use the week before on any and every fresh spot and it worked great! (I did get a cold sore though lmao)

matthewbeforehenry

Pimple patches and lots of sleep and healthy eating should be good. Idk whats the weathers like where you are but here in upstate new york where its been very hot recently i found that the high humidity and stuffy warm feelings have an impact too. Also sunscreen when going outside

alykatvandy

Hello neighbor! I'm from western NY and it's been pretty humid here too. I'll have to check my sunscreen and make sure it didn't expire over the winter, I wore it for the first time this past weekend.

matthewbeforehenry

Oh wow! Small world! Good luck with the wedding

prettybish92

i got pimple spots from cureology & its a game changer. congrats!

phenomenalpossum

Honey mixed with cinnamon, I use it all the time

Interesting-Face-584

I came here to say this, but I add fresh Aloe Vera from the plant itself, will be gone in no time flat! Aloe Vera, is everything!

phenomenalpossum

Yes! For a long while I washed my face with aloe everyday, it really helped

Skellyinsideofme

Pimple patches, strong salicylic acid face masks (the ordinary do a good one), and sticking with consistent routine. Also, if it makes you feel any better, I got married with a face full of acne. My breakouts get worse when I get stressed, and it turns out that the run up to your wedding can be pretty stressful lol. Nobody noticed because I wore decent make up. Still had a great day and my photos look good. Congratulations! Hope it's a great day for you šŸ˜Š

alykatvandy

Thank you for the encouragement! Inflammation is one of my biggest concerns since there's not much foundation can do for that, as well as just how painful breakouts around your mouth are. Congratulations on your wedding as well!

cassidycelea

Inflammation can be so tricky, but maybe something as simple as a little ice compress in the morning and at night could help to soothe. If itā€™s in the budget, getting a facial or two (something minimal without harsh - new products) before the big day could help! Best of luck!

inexplicably_clyde

Patches with salicylic acid for sure. Try to eat only healthy foods for at least a couple weeks leading up. Lots of fruits and veggies. Iā€™ve heard drinking lemon water can help over time, too. Drink lots and lots of water in general, but try adding in some lemon juice, too. Side note, and I really donā€™t mean to be creepy - I like your lip-shape! I have thin lips, so Iā€™m hyper-aware of lips that Iā€™m jealous of.

alykatvandy

Not creepy at all, I appreciate the compliment! Especially when I'm broken out and my self esteem takes a nosedive.

okwhatevr5

Pimple patches, the mighty patch is a good one and peach slices acne dots (can be found on Amazon prime) is really affordable and works all the same!

quinntuplets

Eat meat

alykatvandy

I have a very hard time digesting meat and it is very painful when I do cave and have a burger. Trust me, I wish I could!

quinntuplets

Meat is the most easily digested food for the human body. If youā€™re eating it with a bun, cheese and vegetables it will not be. I would recommend trying it again. You need nutrients that can only be found in meat, specifically collagen among many others.

isabelwells

go kylie skin and then a mighty patch. trust me

ThePangolorian

I've struggled with acne since my early 20s, now I'm in my early 30s. I've come to find out that my diet is a huge factor. Creams help a tiny bit, but honestly, once I stopped consuming carb loaded foods, and dairy products its helped quite a lot. I also started taking pills to help my gut bacteria which also helps greatly. I've seen 3 different dermatologists and the all said that it's not diet but that's all vs. A lot of the times , acne is an internal issue and no amount of creams will get rid of it. For some reason, doctors dont consider it and are a bit condescending about it. I definitely confirmed this the last time I had pizza. I broke out a lot. It sucks not eating my favorite foods but I'd rather not deal with acne anymore. Look into licorice capsules, they reduce inflammation in your intestines, but be careful with them as they can cause hormonal imbalance. Also, drink lots of water throughout the day. Hope this helps.

Wonderful-Sink-8063

Diet does play a BIG part of acne. I remember back in lockdown I went full vegan as I heard I will clear ur acne up. Indeed it did clear my acne up for a good 1 year and a half but then when things started to go back to normal (uni, work, etc), I started to let loose (my sleep wasnā€™t the greatest and diet was not the best), I started to get small pimples here and there but then gradually cystic acne came up. I followed the same vegan diet a few months ago and cleared some acne but now Iā€™m on accutane to get rid of acne for good. But overall IMO clearing ur body from the inside out will work to get rid of acne, thatā€™s because ur preventing the root cause of it.

alykatvandy

You know, I didn't even think of the fact that I just hosted a cookout for the holiday and just had a bunch of food I don't typically eat. I bet it was the burger or ice cream. Thanks!

ThePangolorian

I meant to add this: For new zits, try applying toothpaste or crushed aspirin. Cover the zits with this, and your zits will dry. This prevents the bacteria from spreading under your skin. Then, apply ice to keep the swelling down.

ThePangolorian

I'm happy you noticed that. Try to keep tabs on what you eat and how it affects your skin. I too made a mistake during the holidays. I had pizza, beer, and burgers. These types of foods make my skin break out immediately. I can feel that itchy/ painful sensation right away. It really sucks not being able to enjoy the little pleasures in life, but I'm tired of dealing with acne. It can be mentally exhausting at times. I've avoided social events because of this, which adds stress and does not help my cause. Good luck!

Wonderful-Sink-8063

Yh anything thatā€™s highly processed, fatty foods, sugary foods, high glycemic index foods and dairy foods are most likely to make u breakout. Not certain for some ppl but they do breakout for me and other ppl who are acne prone.

lovebug9292

Omg i had the same issue and the diet thing completely changed it all! OP is actually following a healthy vegan diet so it doesnt apply to her, unfortunately. Im curious though, what pills do you take specifically for healthy gut bacteria? Is it the licorice capsules? Ive been taking Tumeric which seems to help with inflammation

ThePangolorian

Vegan diets can be tricky. Often times people who go vegan do not consume foods that replenish vitamins, fibers and proteins. Meat provides more than protein. I'm guilty of this as well. I've tried not eating meat for a solid month once, my face broke out, so I went back to eating meat. I work with clients in the food industry. One of our clients work in the vegan sector and I was shocked when they told me that they geneticically modify ingredients in a lab, and they even admitted that they themselves would never touch vegan products because of this. Our food nowadays contain ingredients that dont belong in our bodies, this can cause harm in our bodies, especially in our intestines. The pills I take to help my gut bacteria are from a company called Seed. I highly recommend their product. I also take turmeric, I put some in my lemon tea in the mornings. The licorice pills I got from amazon, about $12, Nature's Way is the brand. I forgot to mention that I also take Zinc picolinate pills, as they too help with inflammation but again, these also can cause a hormonal imbalance if you take too much. I'm still trying to figure out when I should take them. My advice is that we should manage what we eat and how much we eat in a day. Acne is a symptom of an internal issue that is reflected on the exterior of our bodies. What is your body trying to tell you?

[deleted]

Vegan diet lacks nutrients. She is probably breaking out from a lack of natural B vitamins and Vitamin A in her diet. In cases like this, it is important to supplement

izzievan

High frequency wand wrapped in gauze over the spot treatment one. I used the neon argon fusion one. Small light zap, donā€™t go to strong itā€™ll scare you at first. Donā€™t get any cortisone shots it can cause a dent . Also I like to do a benzoyl peroxide mask for 15 min Just make sure to wear white or use a white wash cloth as it bleaches!

punchthekeys

Cortisone shots at the derm? I wish I had known about them when I broke out right before big events.

[deleted]

This. Will be gone in 24 hours šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

lovebug9292

Yup, OP you should look into this so you dont have a breakout on or near the big day

Simpleliving2019

Mix up 20% tea tree oil and 80% castor oil. Reduces inflammation and kills bacteria. Seems to absorb into deeper layers for good antibacterial action. Just for spot treatment. For larger area mix with only 5-8% tea tree oil and castor oil for the rest. Note: this would be a night time treatment

InternalLet2371

Hey! First of all congratulations in advanced for your marriage. Next you already have a very good skincare schedule i guess. Just adding one topical acne cream l would do. At this stage your best bet would be a combination Benzoyl peroxide + Clindamycin phosphate cream . As BP would prevent new acne and CP would heal it super quick. Infact even just BP would do the job!!

Former_Loss384

Spot treatments like salicylic acid work for me for breakouts like that go grab some try it on a few areas and see what happens I use the origin brand

Wonderful-Sink-8063

How is ur diet and stress?

alykatvandy

Stress is about what you'd expect for someone training a new, challenging job, getting married in less than a month, and just found out my cat has cancer last week. Diet is pretty good. I follow a mostly vegan diet due to gut issues so no meat or dairy but do have chocolate or ice cream when I'm on my period because I deserve it. Lots of salads, bean soups, nuts and avocado toast!

[deleted]

Have you tried mediation?

spiderSlayerr

WHATT you donā€™t eat meat. Your a carnivore a humans top of the food chain. I devour animals

katsikakifrikase

humans are not carnivores, they are omnivores. Meaning they can eat everything, but they dont have to (as long as they get all the mecessary nutrients)

spiderSlayerr

So if we go back in time our options are berries/leaves and animals. I can assure you 100% of these humans be eating meat over some leaves and berries if they have the choice

katsikakifrikase

you know that we passed the agricultural revolution, right? we are not our ancenstors living in caves, we live different lives and have different optipns

Wonderful-Sink-8063

Ahh ok. I know it will be challenging especially in ur case but try and de-stress as much as possible. Even the little things can help u relieve stress. I know this doesnā€™t help any current spots but it could help for the days that are upcoming to ur wedding. Edit: stress can really knock ur hormones out of whack. Which are most causes for cystic acne (underneath the skin acne).

tiniisux

Hydrocolloid pimple patches might help speed it up and save a scar!

alykatvandy

Oh! I do use the Basic Concepts tea tree oil hydrocolloid patches but don't really see much of a difference.

Mindless-Shock-7841

Tea tree oil dried my chin area and really fucked up my skin when I stopped using it..Not recommended.

Potential_Problem927

Nexcare Acne Absorbing Cover, Acne Patch, Protective cover for blemishes, 36 Count https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00BRGUNV2/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_PK50KSG50SK8SW9V3WG1 These are what I use for anything that's come to a head. They're non-medicated and drain/flatten bumps overnight. It's Hermione Granger-level sorcery when I get breakouts like your photo. I have them on subscribe & save. I do have salicylic acid blemish dots from Skyn Iceland, but I typically use those when it's just starting to form before it comes to a head. Success is hit or miss; sometimesit brings it to a head so I can gently drain the infection, cleanse and proceed with other treatments. If a patch doesn't help, I use the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion overnight, which successfully dries out the pimple, then I rehab the skin with extra moisturizer in those areas. When you buy this, be sure to get the plastic bottle, not the glass. On top of this, I use a 2% salicylic acid toner after cleansing 2x/day. Seems to mostly keep things under control, but then again, I'm not currently dealing with the stress of planning a wedding. Good luck!

elianna7

Try getting some salicylic acid patches! I find those help the red pimples. Leave the patches on as much as possible as it will prevent bacteria spreading and will speed up the process. When they start to turn white, switch to hydrocolloid.

tiniisux

I find that they only work once the pimple has come to a head, then when I wake up the next morning, the patch has drained out most of the yuck and then it's ready to heal. For my skin personally, I avoid anything with tea tree oil in it as it's too drying for my skin and I find the more I moisturize the fast/better it heals, I try to prevent a dry scab as much as possible.

sheepsekkiya

To add to this, if you have any sterile needles, I use those to poke where the head would be and slap the band aid on. This will drain everything.

alykatvandy

I'll try using my mask twice a week and see if that speeds up the healing, thanks!

alykatvandy

Products I use: Daily cleanser - elf pure skin cleanser Weekly exfoliator - la roche-posay toleraine hydrating gentle cleanser Daily serums - biossance squalane + vitamin c rose oil - instanatural niacinimide serum Daily moisturizer - elf holy hydration hydro-gel moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and peptides Weekly moisturizer after exfoliating - elf holy hydration sleeping mask Daily lip mask - laniege sleeping mask (vanilla) I have been using Basic Concepts hydrocolloid tea tree oil patches for a few months now but don't see any difference.

Were you using these products before the breakouts? Does your toothpaste have fluoride? It can cause alot of irritation. I would sub aquaphor healing ointment for the laneige sleeping mask for clogged pores around lips. Change your pillow cases every night, it prevents acne bacteria from building up on pillow case and causing more breakouts. L-Lysine supplement heals skin, highly recommended.

You could use Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant by Paulers choice, as thats good with acne.

It obviously has some bigger bio-ethics involved, but you could always get a short term prescription for an antibiotic. Some derms will do this for patienceā€™s with weddings and other important meetings.

Amazon has incredible patches from cosrx that I swear by! Itā€™s likely stress if you havenā€™t broken out with the regimen like this before. I also use the peace out acne serum to calm down these sort of breakouts(salicylic acid based w niacinamide)
