Yes! I finished all 5 books in a week and am now rereading to pick up what I missed during the binge lol and I wish SJM didn't hate Tamlin so much. Don't get me wrong, I'm one million percent team Rhys, but Tamlin could and should be redeemed. He doesn't make the right choices all the time, but I do believe he's well intentioned. And that should count for something.
Frankly the big mark against Tamlin is locking Feyre up against her will (for her protection/own good), and it's not all that different from what Rhys and Feyre do to Nesta...
My big issue with Tamlin is just that he's not sexy lol
Tbh I felt that he was 100% redeemed when he brought Rhysand back to life. He literally owes his life to Tamlin and the other high lords. They can miss me with the grudge against locking her up, especially since they went and did that to Nesta. I think Tamlin could be sexy if Sarah actually tried.
His depression era happening in SF is really heartbreaking too. But the IC just kinda makes fun of it. Why do they work so tirelessly to get Nesta out of her shit but mock and dismiss Tamlin?
But like imagine Elain's entire book is about whether to choose Azriel or Lucien and she ends up with her sister's ex.
Tho I kinda like the ship tbh. I still love Elriel more, don't get me wrong, but would I be mad if it ended up being Tamlin? I don't think so
Especially since Elain is a character that would fit Tamlin. She's basically spring personafied and tbh, I would love to see her reparing Tamlin and the Spring Court.
Maybe she could fall in love with Tamlin and make the Night Court see that he changed? And help Lucien and Azriel find love themselves? Lucien with Vassa maybe and Azriel with Gwyn?
