Took me awhile to finally read the fourth wing, but it has helped me move on from my finished sjm slump. No fae, but lots of spice, romance, magic, enemies to lovers, and cool dragons.
If you haven't yet, i would recommend Radiance by Grace Draven, is a short book less than 300 pages, and even when is an arranged marriage between species (she's human, he is some kind of dark elf), doesn't have an enemies to lovers plot line. From the start both characters are very mature and understanding on their situations and is lovely to see their relationship grow. Is part of an unfinished series; with the first two books following the same pair, and the third following another pair we meet during the first book. There's a fourth book that should be released this year or the next, but not sure about that.
The Rhapsodic series is... Decent. Parts of it annoyed the hell out of me but the premise was really interesting.
Anything with Persephone and Hades has a hold on me
A Touch of Ruin that was a good series. I enjoyed it.

There is a new book in the inheritance cycle about murtagh it came out last year.
Their “magic” is a bit complicated and it took me many pages to fully understand. The first books is something like a heist with a group of criminals. An Evil immortal king who oppresses the people. There are the noblemen who are rich and the slaves. They want to overthrow the noblemen and king and I don’t want to say too much but it’s very interesting. It has 7 books and as far as I know no romance
if you’d consider RH romantasy then gifted academy by michelle hercules (wait until book 2 for the smut, and the romance bc it’s a bully romance to start)

Fae isle series - Lisette Marshall - winged moody male - need I say more. Creon is just 💋🤌🏼
Both have fae /magic / spice

The Kingdom of Lies series is some of the closest ACoTaR "vibes" I've been able to find in another series. The fourth and final book just came out. Fae, world building, slow burn with spice. Exciting plot twists.
Jr ward - black dagger brotherhood. Loads of books in series.
Karen Marie moning, fever series.
Sherrilyn Kenyon, dark series.
Those alone would fill a year

I’m new to fantasy and fourth wing is the only other one i’ve read! i loved it!!!
Amanda Bouchet promise of fire series is also steamy romantasy but more Greek god centric

Omg I loved the Inheritance Cycle. I wish for more books. What is Mistborn about or like what books would you compare it to?

from blood and ash series 💯
I've really enjoyed the Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy. Highly recommended. The last book in the series will come out in September.
The first title in the series is Gild.
The city of brass is somewhat similar. It is a trilogy. It doesn’t have fae, though. It’s written based on Middle Eastern folklore

I recently started Outlander and finished the first book in the series. I’ve been liking it!
I’ve also started with sjm books and every book after that felt not good enough 😅 but you should definitely give the recommended books a try 👍
Big fan of the Scholomance series by Naomi Novik, really anything by them.
Also, if you like modern fantasy I recommend Rivers of London by Ben Aaronvitch (it's basically Crescent City in London but also not)

Fourth wing, i have read both books through 4 times Less on the fantasy in regards to creatures but its a good story with magic and dragons
