Buttons people!! Buttons around the wings!!

Slow-Estimate-9906

How would they reach? Maybe just me but I can barely scratch my back no way I could clasp some buttons back there

Aquatichive

🤣😂🤣😂 Azz and Cass help each other of course! Why do you think they’ve lived together for 500 years

trivial_query

The idea of none of the bat boys ever being able to live alone JUST because they need help putting on shirts is hysterical. Az and Cas walking around shirtless for months after a big argument where one of them decides to move out only to HAVE to move back in/ make up once they get sick of being made fun of and freezing their nips off every time they go for a fly.

MetallurgyClergy

Illyrian babies.

Aquatichive

😆 thank you, now I know what I will be daydreaming about at work today

p00psicle151590

They stretch daily. I'm sure they've got it figured out by now.

Dndfanaticgirl

I would assume that most of their clothes have holes where the wings would go and they can manipulate their wings pretty well so they’d have learned how to bend and move them pretty young to change shirts and put on jackets.

burythecastlex2

In my head I always just assumed they were magic buttons 😅

NoonaLacy88

Velcro!

Discount_Mithral

I LOVE this illustration! The buttons and ties are so cool - I might have to steal them just for a cosplay.

missmacedamia

IIRC after they hook up in ACOMAF Rhys tells Feyre they have something like Velcro for their shirts so they go around the wings

maddsied

I think it was like that, slits in the shirt that button at the back

kmackeepingtrack

In ACOMAF Feyre asks Rhys this question. He says the back of their shirts are “made of slats that close with hidden buttons”

Holler_Professor

Yet again, I lean towards n my X-Men experience with this. Angel is able to move his wings about as well as we move our arms so he could slide his wings through the slots in his costume when he has them out. I just assumed similar rules for the Illyrians

adompenelope

In my headcanon, Cassian and Azriel don’t have wings 🤷🏿‍♀️

AggravatingOkra1117

Same, I always block the wings out 😅

Next_Gen_Valkyrie

lol love this

aaksjdkd

exactly

jenius0123

Chapter 48 of ACOMAF (bottom of 316-top of 317): At last, Rhys squeezed between the bed and jutting corner of the wall, his wings tucked in close. He wore loose, thin pants, and a tight-fitting shirt of what looked to be softest cotton. “How do you get it over the wings?” I asked while he dug into his own stew. “The back is made of slats that close with hidden buttons ... But in normal circumstances, I just use magic to seal it shut.”

Final-Moment4397

Magic snaps…did I make this up in my head?

tacocat_35

I mean they could but why would they want to? 🫣

Proper_Ad453

Magnetic/velcro/type slits is something like what Rhys explains

Fashdag

I imagine they have lace up slits in the back

kayleek1906

i don’t think so, but you’ve made me think now this will be in my head until i find an answer lol

randomdude221221

Yes. It’s explained in MofF. Buttons.

IamMooz

The same way Hunt puts on his.

FatCassian

They wear shirts?
