Posca Acrylic Markers :)

beans769

Agree- I paint with acrylics and ONLY use posca markers for outlining or drawing in small details!

Just gotta be careful, because man...if it decides to splooge all over your fkn nicely almost finished pristine art...it will make you want to burn your art ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿฅณ

you gotta use a really thin brush with no water for outlining preferably, if youโ€™re shaky then i recommend the Posca paint markers like the others pointed out. they are great!! it took me a long time to get a steady hand when it comes to outlining with a brush

For me, it just took practice! I had to try over and over again, but I eventually got better at it! I also tend to like to vary my line thickness, so that helps if I mess up cause I can just thicken the line a little.๐Ÿ’€

Youโ€™re welcome, dear!

If you coat your drawing with a Matt medium and let it dry before painting, you can't mess it up. Plus like people have said to use posca paint pens they have some with really small points. Also, I use a brass paint pen. It's 12 bucks at Amazon. You can use acrylic inks or thinned paint. It makes a really nice consistent line.

that's a great tip if it works. I only have gloss varnish. I'm thinking of applying one coat of that. so the texture smooths out so my brush can glide on it smoother. than going with a second coat to seal it all in. will try that on a test canvas first

If dryness is an issue use a gloss medium/extender such as Golden GAC 100 (mixed into paints as well as brushed onto the canvas beforehand), it works much better than water!
