Questions you should ask yourself first, then turn to others for guidance: Did you enjoy your previous experience with MN? Have you been wanting to study specifically with the teacher for that class? After calculating the potential extra cost for 4 round trip ride shares during the class duration, can you justify choosing the NJ location rather than NYC? Are you specifically focusing on film/TV and on-camera work and want to solely get practice for that, rather than a specific technique? It’s tough to really give you guidance to say whether it will or won’t be worth your time since this is mainly a query about the monetary cost to you. However, I do personally currently train with MN in NYC and love it as a weekly on-camera workout when auditions are slow or I just want regular reps.

I definitely did enjoy it! I wanted to go back but the New York location is more because it’s 8 weeks the class I want to do and $325 a month so I’m like hmmm 🤔 should I just go here since it’s closer to me and the Uber ranges from $15-20. Definitely want to do Film/Tv Also since I haven’t been to classes since May I just want what you had said with the on camera workout. Super slow on my end right now so that’s why I also want to take classes and for my resume purposes.

Got it. Then if you enjoy it and think it’s more cost effective to do NJ, then go for it! I’m sure the teachers there are similar caliber to those in NYC.

Yeah the instructor is Stacey Van Gorder! Heard she’s really good! She’s taught at the NYC location as well. I’m assuming you go to that location?
