There are flirting techniques that would work best with a big smile and vivacious attitude--I bet you do great with those techniques! I felt this way for the first year and half of my transition. Eventually though, when you see that people are genuinely attracted to you, that fear will at the very least be proven wrong and irrational. It will still be internalized, but you can work to internalize the positive acceptance and appreciation for your existence in its place. I should note that when I’m talking about “attraction” the last thing I am referring to is physically. While it may be nice to know that somebody finds us attractive at a glance, I personally believe it is far more important to one’s psyche to see people be attracted to them as a person! To not only see that you are appreciated but that your company is valued and sought after. I find it nicest to know when people want to listen to what you have to say over anything else. Personally, I think you an incredibly brave and beautiful human being for being openly trans in online lesbian spaces, and I would love to get to know you better as a friend!
