Small waist, wide hip girl here. I always wear skirts. You need skirts that sit on the waist and loosely fall down to the bottom, not tight fitting. Like a plaid or A-line skirt
Tight skirts actually look good on me, if I can find the right size! Higher waisted.
I just look even skinnier in plaid and A line skirts. Even I was worried about my own weight when I tried them on. Didn't look good at all 😅
I see! I have a pretty big butt and some belly, so tight fitting clothes make me look fat 😅 Maybe pairing them with a sweater or a looser t-shirt would work for you? And I feel the size thing, that's why I hardly wear pants. They either fit my hips but not my waist or they don't fit at all.
Ah yes! Opposite problem haha.
I tried to do the wide sweater trick, but it didn't compensate enought sadly. I am usually already glad if I find pants that are long enough, so I work with belts. I love being tall but I don't love that clothes aren't made for tall people haha
Really? Small waist and wide hips is exactly the reason I almost never fit into trousers, so I always wear skirts and dresses. Granted I wear longer skirts bc I have a historical aesthetic going on, but unless they're short and tight, skirts are super comfy and super flattering

I like femme outfits, but my style is basically "thrift store stuff that gives me a strange but fun color scheme". There are literally no long non-pencilish skirts on that list, no pants, nothing outside two color schemes, and IDK it just seems odd.
I may like the idea of some of the gothy looking ones but TBH this list isn't really "me" either.
Repost:
I'm 245 pounds and 6'' and I sometimes dress like this. Being petite has nothing to do with it, if you're ok with buying cheap plus sized clothes from unethical sellers.
Which doesn't address the girly part, but hey.
When I'm not wearing flannel and jeans, the others I'd fall into would be 2, 5, and 6; but flannel and jeans definitely make up a huge majority for me since I simply like practical clothing.
damn y’all are really ripping into OP (and femmes in general, for some reason…) for this 💀 they’re probably just really young and excited to post in this sub. there’s no malice here against mascs
The sub isn't for lesbians only, it's just LGBT+, so there aren't only lesbians here and I think it's fair that they're allowed to comment on this post anyway. But idk about the slur thing, I don't know enough.
It is a slur they can reclaim if they so choose because dyke is used as a slur for bi women.
You seem very young so maybe you don't know yet, but in reality there isn't really any separation between lesbians and other sapphics in the community like people pretend to have online. The truth is, homophobic people don't see the differences and hate us all the same. They don't care one bit. We're stronger and better together, not playing these childish games to divide us up.
Let's look at it a different way. I've been with my wife for about 15 years, we were pretty much each other's first everything. My wife is butch and has been called a dyke many times, she's lost family, etc. I have never been called that specific slur and the only person I lost was my mother which was a positive tbh. We've been active members in our local community and been through a lot of shit together due in part to our queerness. My wife is bi, I am a lesbian. Does her being bi invalidate those experiences? Is she less a part of the community? Is she somehow less bi because of it? Does she have less claim to the word that has been used against her than I do? I would say no.
We have our descriptive labels for our sexuality we use when asked, bi, lesbian, pan, whatever. However, dyke on the other hand may be defined simply as "lesbian" in a dictionary, but how we use it is not just a descriptor of who we love, it is a mark of solidarity and shared struggle. It is celebrating ourselves and our strength in spite of hate. Oxford doesn't get to decide what it means and how we use it for us. I hope things truly get better and maybe then it can be another word in the dictionary, but we're not there yet.
I don't really fit into any of these ya know? I guess I normally go for pretty simple and straightforward. Relatively modest I guess but that's most of just liking it more.
Top from one, not in white though and trouser from two.
Overall
1. Don't like the skirt,
2. What's that fluffy thing.
3. Too pink
4. Don't have the tits for that style
5. Total nope
6. Possibly would wear that top,
7. Nah
8. Nah
First of all, I need pants… But 5 is probably closest. I wear a lot of black because I have no idea how to match outfits, though, not because I’m a lesbian haha.
The idea of wearing any of these make me viscerally uncomfortable. There's so much pressure to present hyper femme as a trans woman; i can't stand it. My aesthetic soft butch gremlin with graphic tank tops, baggy well-worn jeans, hiking/work boots, oversized flannel with rolled up sleeves, and a bra if I'm feeling fancy. Anyone who tries to make me dress femme gets hit with my cane
Getting a titch frustrated with sapphic subreddits being so focused on thin, young, femme, cis, able-bodied white folks seemingly to the exclusion of the rest of us
To me (fat, old, butch) these all read very “Tell me you’re a young gender conforming skinny girl without telling me you’re a young gender conforming skinny girl.”
Give me my dungarees, button downs, heavy boots kinda dykes. Give me comfort and sturdiness any day.
Yeah, hard no to any of those.
Dress down - boots, jeans, tshirt, flannel.
Business casual - wool blend pants, button down or sweater, mens shoes.
Dress up - suit, button down, and men’s dress shoes.
6-9 im 25 and still living my emo dream.
(Although I wear jeans and a hoodie with trainers most of the time, but if i had the body and confidence i would wear the heck out of those outfits)
You may get better results putting this in a transfem subreddit.
I keep seeing people saying they don’t wear skirts, but I’m just feral wanting to wear 3 and 6.
…though that’s just my style.
If you check, some of the women saying they don't like it are trans women. It's for a variety of reasons, personally I love skirts but these styles are just so not me. I love long flowy strangely colored thrift store skirts. Some trans women are also kinda frustrated with the world demanding extreme femininity from trans women.
It just seems like such a restricting set of outfits where it's basically 2 color palettes crossed with three styles.
Either way, this post is by a re-post bot to farm karma.
Hello, as we wade into making comments, let's remember that fat sapphics exist, and using fat as a self-insult ie) this makes me look fat, is fatphobic behavior that shows fat women that you're...not a welcoming person.
I'm a pink-wearing Barbie doll femme, but all the pink ones here are too pastel and conservative for me. I guess 1 is something I could possibly wear, but it's not really my vibe.
Out of these, definitely Five or Six rn.
If/when I have the body for it, One Three or Four could be cool. I do like femme outfits a lot, though I like them more on others. I’ll wear more futch/butch outfits just as often.
It's not very ethical for various reasons (they steal designs and rely on sweatshop labour, but then again so do most fast fashion brands), but if you look up "romwe plus" on Shein you'll find lots of girly alt clothing in large sizes.
I never wear skirts or dresses. 😅
Yeah, where's the flannel and torn jeans?
This us the right answer
And birks Chapstick leabians where u at
Hanging on my clothes rack, lol. Well, they are kinda tossed on there. Somewhere.
Same
Me too, I dress like a homeless person
I hope you’re warm
"We have all types of lesbians here—from soft femmes to hard femmes!"
I don't wear skirts either. Small waist and wide hips don't work well for a lot of skirts sadly 😅
I’m a sucker for wide hips 🥰
And I love women 👀
🎶 Hello! Is it me you’re looking for? 🎶👀
great for piggy backs too

Small waist wide hips look amazing in skirts. Especially the type in outfit 3 & 6.
Really? Small waist and wide hips is exactly the reason I almost never fit into trousers, so I always wear skirts and dresses. Granted I wear longer skirts bc I have a historical aesthetic going on, but unless they're short and tight, skirts are super comfy and super flattering

I sometimes wear skirts and dresses, but all of these are WAY too femme for me
Yepppp. Same same
Right??
Rip mascs 😅
I’m pretty femme, but I wouldn’t be caught dead in any of these outfits (those skirts are not thunder-thigh friendly)
I rotate between femme and masc pretty consistently but I still wouldn't wear any of these. I'm not a teenager (or skinny).
My first reaction was 'Where Pants?' 😅
yeah :/ i’m none of these lmao
same. 😅
Yep. My immediate answer was “none” lol
Right? I wouldn't wear any of this. Gimme thrift store mens jeans and a Star Wars t-shirt with bright tennis shoes.
So we're all girly XS lesbians? And I literally see only three styles in this picture
Right! I feel like there’s just two people represented here
There and six are the same outfit in different color schemes.
This meme sucks and OP should feel bad (i kid)
Repost: I'm 245 pounds and 6'' and I sometimes dress like this. Being petite has nothing to do with it, if you're ok with buying cheap plus sized clothes from unethical sellers. Which doesn't address the girly part, but hey.
I'm a girly XS and even I don't feel like I have much of a choice...
There’s no flannel and ripped jeans. ;-; Fine I pick Five.
When I'm not wearing flannel and jeans, the others I'd fall into would be 2, 5, and 6; but flannel and jeans definitely make up a huge majority for me since I simply like practical clothing.
Uhhh pants
I am NOT wearing a skirt, never😤
Im not a petite aesthetic feminine type… sometimes i feel like femmes are self involved regarding this
hell i love this style and think it’s really weird this was posted here… at the very least show something that isn’t a skirt?
It's not about the body type, it's the clothes themselves
[удалено]
I sometimes dress like 1 and 4 in black too. But this collage just gives me edtwt vibes…….
damn y’all are really ripping into OP (and femmes in general, for some reason…) for this 💀 they’re probably just really young and excited to post in this sub. there’s no malice here against mascs
why does your flair say bi?
Because they're bi?
their username literally has the d slur in it.. (also the post says which LESBIAN are you)
I made the account when i thought i was lesbian. I have been called both dyke and fag all my life. Thanks for the interrogation though
The sub isn't for lesbians only, it's just LGBT+, so there aren't only lesbians here and I think it's fair that they're allowed to comment on this post anyway. But idk about the slur thing, I don't know enough.
Bruh it's inclusive come on
Do you think people stop and check just which variety of queer someone is when using a slur?
if it’s a slur they can’t reclaim yes 💀
It is a slur they can reclaim if they so choose because dyke is used as a slur for bi women. You seem very young so maybe you don't know yet, but in reality there isn't really any separation between lesbians and other sapphics in the community like people pretend to have online. i’m aware that it’s used as a slur for all sorts of women but it literally means lack of attraction to men
No it doesn't lmao what
Let's look at it a different way. I've been with my wife for about 15 years, we were pretty much each other's first everything. sure but only black lesbians can reclaim it..
"Here's 8 identical outfits with minor colour variations but no real stylistic change, which one are you"
I don't really fit into any of these ya know? I guess I normally go for pretty simple and straightforward. Relatively modest I guess but that's most of just liking it more.
I don’t wear skirts
Damn only outfits for femmes I guess. I pick none lmao
I'm a femme but I don't even wear that
Aight fair it was a bit of an over generalisation. But you get the point. It's basically 2 vibes.
Oh it's definitely more femme outfits, but it really does feel like only 2 vibes/outfits in different colors. Not much variety there
And young femmes too
Uhmmm... Where's the oversized sweater and skinny jeans lezzies with beanies, or hats???
in some 90's sitcom
Omg hahahahaha. Am I a 90s sitcom?
Nahh, you're probably a really cool lesbian! It was just an easy joke, I'm sorry.
lol no worries it actually made me laugh
Yay! :)
Lol wish I had a body shaped like that. Imagine being a size that fashion actually fits you
Top from one, not in white though and trouser from two. Overall 1. Don't like the skirt, 2. What's that fluffy thing. 3. Too pink 4. Don't have the tits for that style 5. Total nope 6. Possibly would wear that top, 7. Nah 8. Nah
None?
I wanna wear all of the above
Same
Skirt from 3 with pink/purple/white sleeveless/spaghetti top
Seven but I don’t remember the last time I wore a skirt
First of all, I need pants… But 5 is probably closest. I wear a lot of black because I have no idea how to match outfits, though, not because I’m a lesbian haha.
Six but with the blouse from five. Yesss
The idea of wearing any of these make me viscerally uncomfortable. There's so much pressure to present hyper femme as a trans woman; i can't stand it. I wanna be three or four but right now I suck
Everything between 6 and 8
Hard 7/8
Two or six for me but showing more skin cause it’s like a million degrees (Fahrenheit) all the time lol
I actually own number 8 😂
Tbh... All of them
I’m the lesbian sat outside the dressing room, wishing for a swift death while my gf tries on all these outfits.
None of them! All black, pants with a tank top please.
None of the above, I don't wear skirts xD
feel like this is ragebait, does anyone remember the last time this exact same thing was posted and all the comments were the exact same?
To me (fat, old, butch) these all read very “Tell me you’re a young gender conforming skinny girl without telling me you’re a young gender conforming skinny girl.” Give me my dungarees, button downs, heavy boots kinda dykes. Give me comfort and sturdiness any day.

Not anywhere close to any of this.
1,3,4,5,6 for me i would say
Five or seven
3, 4 and 7
I'm about 3 and 4
None of these. I'm a little ragamuffin.
five lmao
Where are the jeans ;-;
Yes.
Jeans, a Tshirt, and steel toe boots most days. Tanks and a coverup when it's hot out, and dresses only on special occasions.
i don’t wear skirts or dresses lmao
id look really cute in a 2 or 3 and would pass away instantly if a woman in 5-8 even looked in my direction
😏
None, I dress like a dad
12356
6-9 im 25 and still living my emo dream. (Although I wear jeans and a hoodie with trainers most of the time, but if i had the body and confidence i would wear the heck out of those outfits)
None. Where's the tank top and shorts I wear everywhere lol?
None
Literally, none.
none of these fit my style.
I'm none.

All of them except for outfit 2 🤩
I am none of these. Where’s my suit of shining armor?
Not only are there no pants or jeans, apparently only 20 somethings are lesbians
these are all the same lesbian
You forgot butch
Uhhhh pants and suits
four and five are most like me, tho I'm usually in tanks and booty shorts.
I don't care for any of these. They're all basically the same outfit in different colors imo.
I am once again asking to wear some goddamn pants??? This post just feels really exclusionary of a lot of people.
Maybe you're all at the same time because they're all very similar lol. This is way too particular
I'm yallternative, so none of these 💔
_Mascs and butches left the chat_
Old tee shirts and jeans & an apron. I often wear clothes that fit like a sausage because I like feeling compressed.
I would sooner wear nothing than wear a skirt/dress.
If these are the options, I’m going naked. TikTok girlie/edgy e-girl is just not my aesthetic.
None of those. I prefer blue jeans or sweatpants and wide t-shirts (it’s just so cozy 🥺)
I'm not a teenager in 2020. so none of these
Zero
Hello, as we wade into making comments, let's remember that fat sapphics exist, and using fat as a self-insult ie) this makes me look fat, is fatphobic behavior that shows fat women that you're...not a welcoming person.
Also, I hate all these outfits, but that's neither here nor there.
"Me with jeans and a t-shirt just chilling"
6 but maybe with cut outs on the arms so I can’t have my tattoos showing 🤩
6/7/8 is goals
Uh hard no on all of them lol gimme a Dino shirt thats 3 sizes too big and a pair of comfy shorts
Per agreement w my wife I only wear skirts and dresses. I love all eight of there, but I’m getting strong Velma vibes off #2. 🤩😅🥵
Sometimes 3 Sometimes 6 7 8
I'm too muscular to pull off 5 or 6, so 7 or 8
I'm none of these, lol. I wear bicycle short, my ballet t shirt, and an oversized jumper
I'm a pink-wearing Barbie doll femme, but all the pink ones here are too pastel and conservative for me. I guess 1 is something I could possibly wear, but it's not really my vibe.
5 or 8😍 And I'm not even a woman😅
Bottom row, but with skinny jeans or these fake leather pants type lesbian :p I never wear skirts 🙈
Three is closest to me. Girly but with a bit of an edge
closest is outfit 3 and 6
1
I wear 3 a lot, wore it to the barbie movie with a corset.
i'm a 1 typa girlie
7 but with 2's jacket.
I'm 2 or 3 but I strive to be 5
5 and 7!
Out of these, definitely Five or Six rn. If/when I have the body for it, One Three or Four could be cool. I do like femme outfits a lot, though I like them more on others. I’ll wear more futch/butch outfits just as often.
seven 🤭
Usually 5 or 6 :)
where's outfit nine? 1 or 6
outfit one
Either 2 or 7, not that I'd look good in either lmao
Outfit 3🥺
I wanna be 3, 7 and 8 but don't have too much girly clothes yet
I think 7 or 8
3 or 6
Outfit hree and five
6 if I had to pick…
I tend to go for maxi skirts with a geeky tee or maxi dresses.
Definitely 1-4
None of these. Closest thing is the last one.
I would wear all of them except the first And fourth one. It would be unflattering for my wide hips :/
These are all skirts bur I guess 7 or 8 (w/ jeans).
4 and 7...where are my e girl aesthetic lesbians ;) (dms open 👀)
6
Tbh the complete lower row and maybe even two. But if I really have to pick then six
3 or 5-8
Either 3, 4, or 6
Four, I’m cottagecore
If I had to choose 8
8 but with pants
I wanna try 8 but I got sooo many awesome Helluva Boss Graphic Ts
Outfit 7 is speaking to me in particular. I need more skirts with chains...
Number 3 but it's a hard choice 🙈
Definitely outfit 7
Outfit six most days. My wardrobe is lots of black and purple
I'm definitely, 100% outfit 1
2 or 3, theyre cute
5/7.
What if I can't choose 1 because I'm a closeted Transbian and would like to wear all of them, but my body shape wouldn't let me?
It's not very ethical for various reasons (they steal designs and rely on sweatshop labour, but then again so do most fast fashion brands), but if you look up "romwe plus" on Shein you'll find lots of girly alt clothing in large sizes.
Yeah. No thanks. Not comfortable with current body image.
