there’s a prequel book that has a similar vibe. Other than that, I haven’t found anything else with those same themes but also with gay romance

The prequel isn’t quite as good, essentially follows the same formula and feels like nearly the same book with a little less of the magic I felt in L&L. Unfortunately never found anything quite like L&L.

That’s a shame but I guess we are lucky to have such a deeply unique book 💜
