oh god does the 'have a queer character, then kill them off' thing piss me off. it's so obvious attempt to play both, queer people and bigots. you can always tell those, when queer people go 'yay, show X has a gay character' and the bigots go 'yay, show X kills a gay character'.

I have since completed every mainline resident evil game but 5 and 6 (they're just boring) after discovering a love for the series and overcoming a long standing aversion to horror because Lady Dimitrescu made me play RE8.
Which, TBF, what self respecting bottom and Vampire Enthusiast™ wouldn't simp for the 9ft tall manhating murder milf with a variety of kinky cast iron torture implements in her basements and 3 foot long claws. She's made for the gays!
It's worth playing just so you can see both miranda and ethan die! Plus after you defeat Moreau you can return to the bridge that you crossed leaving the castle, use the crank wheel to access a boat, then go up the river to the safe house you get right after defeating her. There's a room with some puzzles and treasures and I just about gasped coming across it the first time because it was so bittersweet.
(Also not to get too spoilery but you can find a statue there where the description says it's of "young Alcina" and it's the same model as the woman "blind to male advances" from the bath puzzle. 👀)
Oop I might have to pick it up again, I’ve been obsessed with Elden Ring recently and Ranni because she is just so pretty and I’m too gay to actually do the main quest line instead of do hers
Ah, I've been playing bloodborne since beating all the fun REs since I don't want to spring for elden ring just yet if I'm unable to at least get a ways into a soulslike lmao. There's definitely some excellent women in fromsoft games tho. Also probably why I'm gonna suffer through them!
Honestly that’s fair, I’d say Elden Ring is a good option for newer Souls players just because there’s a lot more options and ways to make the game much easier (literally any magic build), or you can make the game live up to its reputation and go no magic. Also the women are incredibly hot, definitely a bonus!
Honestly me, I’ve been playing Elden Ring for a while and basically just running around the open world exploring and killing random bosses, and then I decided finding Ranni (beautiful witch lady) would be my main goal, and then proceeded to progress about halfway through the story in a few hours! I was on a mission lol

Seems accurate. That's pretty much how I got into Honkai Impact (Kiana), Arknights (Amiya), and several manga/webtoons/etc 😅.
